Yesterday was..... GREEN DAY in MannieLand. WOO HOO! WOOT, YAHOO! It was also the end of a grand Zener Slide, producing the prettiest longest shiniest rainbow the Rainbow Bandit could ever muster: a slide all the way from Black the day before to the depths of the green lagoon yesterday morning. What a ride.... :-D Last night I took the fat off of Mannie's dose. The past few days I have had to carb rather heavily, he's had some horrific big bounces, indicative to me that the dose needs to be adjusted. I had fattened it a couple of weeks ago to jump start Mannie, and I think that mission has been accomplished. We shall see how this goes. If need be I will put the fat back on the dose. Think blue, think green Mannie. Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D BRRRRRRRRRRRRR in the PNW! 31 out there in the morning, 40 at night. But (!) we have clear skies, more or less, and NO RAINS! WOO HOO on the no rains. Mannie and Elsa are also glad on the no rains part. They both ventured on out for a bit yesterday, but no surprise that they were back within a couple of minutes. It was cold out there! At least Mannie came back in without dragging in half the yard in his belly fur. ;-) Naps were in order after that. It was also vacuum day yesterday. :shock: :shock: I was able to vacuum within inches of the nanner king, without one twitch on those whiskers. I was so tempted to run the hose attachment over his fur, but thought the better of it.... :lol: :lol: Then came the dreaded vacuum the nanner spot.... slowly and ever so quietly I got ready.... was within inches of gently nudging the pile at least to clean under them... within seconds I felt eyes staring me down... sure 'nuf! The sleeping giant was fully awake, nanner security breech high alert status. :lol: :lol: :lol: I told him it was just one sweep and all would be over. Zippppp! Done! withing seconds he was back on top of the pile, spread eagle, covering as many as he could, and there he fell asleep - nanner stash protected once again. True, and what a guy! :shock: ;-) ;-) :razz: This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club (YUM!, and YAY!), purrs and lots of cuddles. Normalcy in MannieLand. :cool:

Have a great day everyone. HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone! It will be football day here.... and not too sure what else. Probably put away Christmas for this year, box everything up. bummer! I hope to also get out for short walk today. I am finally starting to feel better, so hope I can get out. WOO HOO!

Hey everybody! What a day yesterday! What a cool way to bring in a new year but with skiing and sledding and snowboarding and skating... and then grillin's. It was really cool that Maui let us come to be condo afterwards. I like it there! What funS! What do you guys wanna do today? Maybe a chillaxin' day. In the treehouse? Or Maybe on Maggie's beach. We can cruise the boardwalk there too, maybe play some beach volleyball. :-D :-D Let me know - I am ready for anything!! ~~ Mannie

Morning Michelle and Happy New Year to you and Mannie. What a wild ride yesterday is right. I guess Mannie thought the best way for you to get rid of the nasty cold was for him to keep you hopping! :lol: I hope he got you some hot tea and soup in between his testing. :-D I don't blame you for taking the fat off, as you really had to work to keep his numbers up. It's cold here, too, only 43 degrees right now, unusually cold for us, but no rain and sun later, so we're happy. Enjoy the football and walk. I intend on starting the New year with back to walking when it's nice. Have a great day and hope you're getting over the cold.

Hey Mannie, we will have sun this afternoon, so it's a great beach day, as all the natives will think it's too cool. We can have the beach to ourselves and a few tourists. My bean sez your bee gees are all over the place and you need to pick number and stick with it. She said to pick one in the turquoise range, whatever that means.

Glad you enjoyed my place. It must have been a very fun time, because I now have a supply of swimsuits! I found them next to the pool, in the pool and on the diving board. Did you cats get nekkid and go skinny dipping in the pool last night? Yes, I know I went to sleep early, cause I was tired and didn't stay up for the ball to drop.

And what were Maggie, Leo and Tess doing? The seemed to have left their clothes in the palm tree. And what happened to the niptini machine? It's empty and my entire stash is gone. It's going to take weeks to grow more nip for our drinks.

I think a calm, relaxing day is needed and everyone needs to be vewy quiet, as I think some kitties may have headaches....... :lol: :lol:

Oh is that why Maggie came home last night wearing some of Maui's clothes. She said she didn't remember what happened to her swimsuit or other clothes! She also mumbled something about a headache :lol:

Happy New Year Michelle, OMG vacuuming the nanner pile... So funny :lol: my kitties both scatter as soon as the vacuum comes, they think I am going to kill them with it I guess. I always feel badly for making them run away... So I try to start it when they are already out of whatever room I want to vacuum. Enjoy your football day, hope you can get out for your walk at some point.

Mannie, hope you clear your bounce soon buddy. The blues and greens are the places to be. The mocha coffee sounds wonderful, I would love one when you are out and about today. Have fun with your friends :smile:

How dare you even try to vacuum around the nanner pile! There is nothing wrong with a little dirt on and under the nanners. In fact, I bet Mannie feels like the nanners taste better with more dirt and fur and slobber on them.

Nice cycle yesterday and I'm sure he is going to come on down for you later on today. Here that, Mannie?!

Have a wonderful, relaxing day. I was going to take down decorations, but I'm too tired. The decorations may still be up for next Christmas the way I'm going.

There have been a few times when I have just skipped that spot. he is after all the master of dragging in half the yard and all its dirt when he come back in from being outside. :roll: Too funny on you and your decorations. it is the way I feel today too, but am determined after competing this that condo update I will start... ;-) well, maybe... I hope so too on Mannie's coming back down. I am sure he will.

I know the feeling Sabrina hides under the covers of the bed and Scrabble just stares! Hope you have a nice New Years, I am going to wait til this weekend to take the Christmas stuff down and I hear ya it stinks doing it. I always think the house looks so blah after! Oh dear, either Mannie wants a pokie break or he's getting back at you for vacuuming the nanners today. He had such a wonderful day yesterday, for both cycles.

That's a lot of work to pack up Christmas in one day. We usually wait until the following weekend because that's when the Boy Scouts have their tree chipping day. I think we got your fog today, although the sun peaked through earlier.

I expected the bounce today, but really hoped he wouldn't so the black floor again... I had thought about waiting on packing up the Holiday, but just decided to get it done, while the energy was there,. :lol: Tree is in a box, other wise I'd wait for the Boy Scouts too.
