He should have dived off this floor before this but I haven't been overly diligent watching every second for him getting into something even MC/8%. He's still not his perky self but with that BG, I wouldn't be either....

I'm reposting Peanut's beautiful Rainbow here today just in case anyone missed it yesterday. I SO have to find my download software for this camera so I can post it. In the camera, the rainbow just glows. Here's the paragraph from yesterday:

Peanut sent us a Rainbow today!!!!! I have a half-sheet of paper with CAT in big letters across the top, arrows pointing down below it. We use it when Spike lays in front of our storm door so we won't hit him - we move it to the door. When not in use, it's taped to the light switch. I walked to the front door this afternoon - the word 'CAT' had the most beautiful rainbow across the top. It came from a prism ball that hangs in a window on the other side of the house in the next room. I have a beautiful picture but I don't have software loaded. I WILL share it.

I think I have strep throat - not any better today, throat looks really terrible. I'll probably have to visit doctor tomorrow as I don't think I'll get rid of this without ab's.

Peanut's rainbow is a beautiful sign. Reading it brought sweet tears to my eyes.

I'm do sorry you are sick, Lyresa. Please take care of yourself. I'm sending healing vines your way.

aw, i love the peanut/rainbow/cat sign story. just beautiful. they never really leave us.

hope your throat improves quickly - that sucks. sounds like a day of babying yourself would be a good thing.

He's just camping out in his 'Zener' box all day....that box is well used, someone's always in it. They ignore beds to sleep in 'the box'.

I introduced Boots and Lilly earlier - as expected, Boots hissed but Lilly tried to show her she's a friend. I just exchanged smells by petting both but never let Boots down, not ready for that yet. It MAY be easier than I thought - the only thing I'm a little concerned about is that Boots used to have a little mean streak from her previous meanbean's cat. Lilly has NO threatening gestures, she doesn't deserve anyone to be mean to her and wouldn't understand it at all. If this doesn't work where I'm comfortable, Lilly will meet Pepper where I can keep an eye on them most of the time. Pepper arrived with attitude but after her kitten life, that wasn't surprising. She now licks instead of biting and altho' she usually extends her claws even when loving, she's never dug them in, ever.

Big Hugs. I hope your sore throat heals fast, and you do what Julie said and baby yourself, today.
I love the Peanut Rainbow story, and I hope to see the picture someday.

Lyresa, hope you're feeling better and get the ABs if you need them. KT, how about a little action to start out the year and get down to at least the yellow floor. Good luck getting the kitties introduced. Sounds a bit Peyton Place-ish. :lol: :lol:
