Happy New Year to everyone!!
Hope its a healthy one to all kitties & beans.

All 3 cats are happily sunning themselves and relaxing. They love our yard - the boys were born in the bushes along with 2 brothers and 1 sister (adopted) and really feel its home. Honey and her mom (Mummy-Cat) lived outside until the mom got pregnant again (we then had her spayed) and she abandoned Honey. So they all feel a strong connection to being here (we lived away fro 18mths and they hated it) - its lovely to see them rolling in the sun and patrolling the fence.

Monster has started scratching again (methimazole for hyper-T) and has lesions near his eyes, on his ears and under his chin. I cut the dose to see if it helps and he's on his zyrtec.
Minkie still has diarrhea - but otherwise is fine (still!)

So, due to New Year festivities, Honey missed her pm shot yesterday. nailbite_smile
I also overslept this morning and woke up 2 hours late, so she missed her am shot also. ohmygod_smile
Her numbers today are in the low blues (almost green). Her eyes still look a little watery but better that they have the last few days so I'm hoping she's getting over her cold. Everything else ok.
Assuming her numbers don't zoom - should I skip the pm shot or restart? Is blue good enough for OTJ trial??

Except for that 151, her numbers don't look bad at all for the skipped shots, and she brought herself down, and that 151 ain't that bad anyway. Let's see where she is at PMPS, and see what others have to say. She's close, if not quite there.

I agree with Dyana. Wait and see where she is at at pmps and go from there.

The numbers are looking pretty good, considering all you are giving is 1drop.

Just look at today as a good example.... the numbers are dropping after eating, and that's what you want to see. She's adjusting her own numbers just fine. Hopefully she keeps going like this and does not need any insulin.

I'll see what pmps is like. As I've missed to shots, I guess I can give anytime - probably try to get back on a 6:30 schedule.

I think some of Honey's AMPS values have been out of the normal range. Unless there's something very different at PMPS, I'd probably be giving insulin if this were my cat.

Just tested at +34, ie. 2 hours before normal shot time = 108
Not bad.

I still don't know what to do. If pmps isn't up, I may skip but otherwise I'll give her 1 drop.
I do think she's getting over a cold - eyes are still a little weepy but not as bad - and I'm thinking that has been affecting her numbers for the last week

So she dropped to the lowest number since stopping shots. I had the syringe poised to shoot and then decided to give her another day, based on this number.
Maybe her cold has gone or maybe her pancreas has kicked in or maybe she'll go too high in am - but I can always put her back on the juice if needed - lovely to have so much control.

If all ok tomorrow, I'll declare an OTJ trial (anti-jinx) (anti-jinx)

From the looks of things, Honey already started the trial and now you are finally noticing!

That 82 is fantastic!

It's looking to me like Honey's numbers are trending up. I'm not comfortable with all of the blue you're seeing. Take a look at these SSs of kitties who are on OTJ trials or recently completed a trial:
