As usual, his highest number of the day. He sleeps through the night without eating anything and has a BG reading of between 100-120 on average. By evening, he is usually in green numbers or low 100's after eating all day.

No insulin and it has been since Nov 21st this time. I am going to start testing him once every other day and then once a week unless he gives me a reason to think I need to test more. Will start to finally save some money on strips

Have a safe and Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year everyone. Will be checking in regularly to see how you are all doing.

Go RumpleT!!

Looking great, Joyce. I like your plan. It'll be nice if he starts to run generally lower after his dental.

Don't be a stranger! PZI needs your voice and experience.

Does he not want to eat at night, or does he just sleep through?

You could try a bit of operant conditioning and have a small bell or beep go off when you put down food. Then set it to go off midway through the night. It may be just enough of a nudge to prompt him to eat a bite in the middle of the night.

He is generally not very hungry after about 11PM when he eats his last little bite or two as we are heading to bed. He then snuggles up on his "blankie" and sleeps until morning when the coffee pot "beep" wakes him and he heads upstairs to be our "first" alarm clock..LOL. I then hit snooze and he gets up on the bed and licks my face to make sure I am awake!

Then I test and feed him and he is not even all that hungry right away. About mid morning, he chows!

I will be around Sue!
