Good morning!

Another great reading this morning, paws crossed all the way.

Blaze is back to eating, I also figured out one thing...he does not like left over food, he is very picky. I have tried a few things and now I know. The DM cans are very big...so I would open one and give some to him. When the food is fresh and just opened from the can, he eats it no problem. The next day or the next feeding, after the rest of the food in the can was in the fridge, he was not interested and would walk away. I then tried to heat it up to room temperature in the microwave...still nothing.

I now started to take the food out of the fridge 1 hour before he eats and the he is now eating it. I hope this continues...he is still having FF though, I put half and half and will continue...I mean it is still the same brand.

Have a great day everyone, will check later on today after I get home from work.

I've found the same with FF - Luci doesn't like leftovers! DH often opens a new can for her in the evening, then puts the other half in the fridge in a sealed container so it doesn't dry out...but she still refuses to eat it, no matter what I do, warmed, not warmed, room temp... I wish he'd just give her the whole thing...or toss it...I like Sheba pate's for this reason - smaller and she will eat the whole thing at once.

Congratulations on Day 9 OTJ trial! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Hi Paola,

Late on parade today (got a stinking cold).

Great that Blaze is doing better on the food front today. Sometimes the right food is the one the cat will actually eat. :cat:

Hope you had as good a school day as covid will allow (and also that you've caught up on sleep!).

Yes, I did catch up on sleep that's for sure!

Work is still so stressful, everyday we have kids with symptoms...we send them home, they get tested. More and more schools in our region are reporting positive cases...I feel like my school is going to be next. I will try my best to stay safe.

The feeling I have when I come home to my boys and close the door behind me is priceless.

Hi Paola,

I really wish that you didn't have to contend with all that worry. Fingers and paws crossed that your school will stay clear. Will pray for you to keep safe. I'm glad you have your boys there to comfort you.

Happy day 9! I hope work gets less stressful. Schools aren’t open here yet but teachers are being bad mouthed because of that. Teachers don’t want to teach is all over talk radio.
I’m glad your boys will hopefully give you two less things to worry about.

You get the same twaddle from the hard of thinking this side of the pond too. Makes me angry.

As in all walks of life, you get good, bad, and indifferent teachers. I was blessed that the vast majority of mine were extremely good, and a number of them were truly outstanding. I am forever grateful to them for all they did for me. It's decades since I attended school, but I can still see them in my mind's eye as clearly as if I'd been sat in one of their classes only yesterday. :)
