4 P's present in BlackieLand. She did play a tiny bit before her PM shot last night, though.

Bean's tired this a.m. 5 hours of sleep due to a late night storm that blew in, and knocked out the power. Winds were pretty gusty and was blowing the rain all over the place. Got rain... how much not sure. Need a lot of ~O) this morning. Not even sure if I'm going to be doing my grocery shopping today, or tomorrow. I won't drive if I'm tired. Guess that answers my question. Think I'll hog the pot of ~O) all to myself this morning. :twisted:

One other thing... Dallas DID hit 101 yesterday, so I guess that makes it 76 days (I think) of triple digits this year. NOW we'll be in the 80's. It's breezy this morning, and nicely cooled down.

MY WISH: For God to help those ailing make a full and speedy recovery (including Boris, and all the other furbabies who are ailing, please, God)... For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who lost a beloved pet and/or human... For everyone to have great #s... For everyone to be OTJ.

Good morning! Nice AMPS for Blackie! Yuck on the storms. Why couldn't it just rain a nice soft rain for you. Blackie would rather you stay home with her anyway. Sending you some more ~O) ~O) ~O) . Have a great day Angela!

Hi Angela, sorry about the power outage - that's never fun! That's a nice AMPS for Blackie. Do the storms stress her? I'm glad she played a little last night. I know what you mean as I tend to do short trips when I'm tired and always stop for a coffee. Maybe you could order take out if you can't get to the store. Enjoy that coffee and have a nce day,

Yeah, trying to test in almost complete darkness is loads of fun. NOT! :lol: Not sure what was up with her #s last night. It's like the "calm before the storm", so to speak. She has 3 more days until her next decrease. It's going to be an exciting 3 days, I tell ya. Seems that every time she gets a decrease, I need to fight her to keep her up from scubadiving so much.

Take out in this neck of the woods isn't heard of. :lol: I've got food. Just don't feel like driving today due to being tired (and it's obviously much safer if one is tired). I'd rather try and get a nap in and do some stitching.

I'm not sure if Blackie gets stressed due to storms, or not. It was just weird last night... A storm coming in, and her dropping.

Sorry about the weather & blackouts! My DSIL moved to Richardson TX.
BTW I had to test Moonie in the dark during the hurricane--Got a great lantern by Rayovac that has a 50 ft radius of light, which i used to test her with...It worked & is a great thing to have!!
Hope the temps come down for you & for Blackie surfs the rest of the day--Hugs & lub from us!! :mrgreen:

I have 4 hurricane lanterns (the type that requires oil to burn), and I need to get more of something. I'll check into the Rayovac one. Thank you for the tip!

What a night you had....and such a good bean....blackouts will not stop you!

Nice numbers for Blackie. I'm trying to learn from you about the decreases so please keep posting about them. :-D :-D

Wow!! Blackie is making sure you don't get rest. Good thing you stayed home because it looks like you have another fun-filled day. Yay on cooler temps. We are also going to be much cooler tomorrow and Sunday -- I think highs in the 60's. Woo hoo!

Hooray for Blackie. Our power usually goes out too when we get a bad electrical storm. We didn't have to many this summer but lots of rain in June! I wish I could get Sammy more consistent. He's been in the pinks and yellows and now his nadir is usually blue or green. I guess it would be breen! :lol: Glad your weather broke. (so to speak)
