Yesterday, when I got home from work, the left out food was not touched.
J.D. ate his 1st Dinner when I got home from work at PMPS, and then ate his 2nd Dinner at +2.5.
I fed his 3rd Dinner at +6, but went right back to bed, so am not sure if he ate that, or Ginger did.
I gave him his Denamarin at +11, and a little while later we went for a quick walk, and he ate some grass and threw up.
At +12, I was busy trying to get him to eat, I gave him FF Chuny Turkey which he loves and he didn't want it. I added some water and he drank the water. I added some bits of boiled chicken breast and some more water, and he ate a couple bites. I added about 8 or 10 EVO Dry kibbles and he ate some of that. I added some MC food to the mix and he ate a bite or maybe a bite and a half. I added some crunced up freeze dried chicken, no go. I sprinkled some freeze dried salmon and he ate a bite. Then, I went to fill in my ss, and realized I never gave him his dose! So his shot was at +12.75.

I'm going to try to get him to eat, something.

J.D. buddy boy, youse gots to eat yer fuds, man! Youse gots to check in with Queen Shasta for her plan as she wants to conquer the world and we needs to be part of that. I knows youse got yer bean trained but we need to get the other beans, too. So youse gots to eat, man! We need yer help, ok bud? ~Poopy

Thanks Teresa, it helped. I finally found some Friskies Tuna and he just ate 1/4 can of that and CPC! What a relief.

Ok J.D., eat your fuds! Nom nom nom Tunaaaa.

I've done the same thing with the insulin - gone to update the spreadsheet and left the syringe on the counter. But luckily not more than 5 minutes or so, but still! We get so distracted with feeding and such.

Hope next meal is better and J.D. decides to be a good hungry kitty.

Thanks for the eating vines for J.D. Hopefully, he ate fine the rest of the morning.

I just felt bad for not being able to help on the board this morning, but J.D. comes first, to me. First I was very busy trying to get him to eat, and then I realized I never gave him his shot, and then I saw the flat yellows of last night and thought about the possible action in the next cycle, and then I thought about him not eating again, and I was 99.99999999% sure I didn't give his shot, but.. :roll: I was a mess this morning.

I can't tell if it's a pancreatitis flare. It's so hard to know. I have stopped giving him the Ondansetron and Pepcid on a regular basis BID, as he just seemed to be doing so well lately.
So, this morning, I gave him all his meds, again. The first med was the Denamarin at PM +11, and he threw up grass (and maybe the pill) at +11.75.

Ouch! What a morning for you ((hugs)). I hope the day is going better for the both of you, except for the pink pants J.D. seems to be wearing today. :cry:

Thanks for the well wishes and eating vines.

Most of the left out food was eaten when I got home from work a little bit before PMPS. I shot about 35 minutes early. J.D. ate some of his left over left out food at PMPS. He just ate some FF Flaked Tuna at +1.5, and then ate some more of the left over Friskies Tuna, and is now finishing his FF Tuna, and doing a good job of it.
