Hello!

Cooper is not wanting to eat FF anymore. I've seen from others on the Facebook group that ever since FF changed their formula, cats that have never been picky—like Cooper—are refusing to eat it. Yesterday, all of his snacks were still in his feeder when I got home! He's never done that before. I know it isn't his appetite because he will gobble up the freeze-dried chicken treats. If I put that into FF, he says no thank you. Now I'm even more worried to leave him to go into the office! :( He does eventually end up eating his breakfast/dinner, but only with tons of coaxing.

I'm thinking about trying to switch to Friskies, but they don't look like they are as low carb as the FF.

There are lots of other low carb options around. You don’t have to stay with FF.

I was looking at a few yesterday afternoon, but some of them are wildly expensive! I'm trying to get Charlie to switch too, so I don't want to get them hooked on anything too fancy LOL. But Coops has got to eat, so I'll just have to play around with some different types.

I asked my boss if I could switch my work from home day to today because I don't feel comfortable leaving him all day in case he won't eat his snacks again.

Good morning Gabrielle,
I know the frustration! Mikan is a finicky eater and she turns her nose up at things she was happily eating just yesterday!
Often times, I end up opening all kinds of things offering a cat buffet
Would he like flaked? It's still low carbs and my kitties seem to like it better than pate.
Hope you can find a good range of alternatives!

I forgot the flaked is still low carb! I think I have a can of that somewhere here, actually. I'll have to give it a try! Thanks for the suggestion. :) I think I have been blessed with cats that have never been picky, so now that Cooper is showing the slightest hint that he has preferences other than "mostly edible", I am completely flummoxed! :p I'm sure I can find something he'll eat, I just have to accept he's no longer a garbage disposal haha!

Good luck today, Gabrielle. I hope you can work from home to monitor Cooper closely and that he eats well for you.
As we all know, making sure they eat is sometimes the challenge! :bighug:

Thank you! I resorted to putting some shredded cheese on there lol! Probably why his BG went up since pre-shot...
