Boomer let me sleep last night! Well, I heard him call me once but that was it and the next time I woke up he was laying at the end of the bed. He also ate reasonably well last night.
The birds are playing "hard to get" today
but I did get a few usable shots. Now I'm home, DH has gone to costco, and I think this afternoon we're visiting his DBIL in the hospital. I might go back to the pond later but it's supposed to be really windy this afternoon....that's good in that it will drive the birds down but it's not the easiest for photography.
Today's photo was taken two days ago....the Eastern Bluebirds that have been missing from Saunders Pond for several weeks have returned! Hopefully they are planning on staying the winter!

A couple of weeks ago we saw a whole bunch of EB's out in our field...they seemed to be flitting about here and there...I was wondering if there was some special bug or worm out there that they found tasty - I've never seen that many in one place at one time!
