Thank you everyone for your prayers,compassion and empathy We all have our struggles here with our furbabies. Being Disabled and with out a Cat Daddy makes it very stressful and hard Sorry I freaked out! Amethyst and I waited until 3AM for the doctor to call Finally when she called she told me the XRAY and Blood Work all looked good THANK YOU GOD! She feels that the vomiting and lack of appetite is because of the enema .JoJo is HOME!!!! Love,Light and Healing to all of our Kitties,Doggies,Mama and Daddy Beans

Oh, Pamela, I think we all can relate to FREAKING out about our beloved kitties! I have done it many times myself. I have, many times, jumped to the worst possible scenario in my mind about my kitties. I have gotten myself in tears about it, imagining the worst when it wasn’t the worst. Sometimes we just need to get things checked out. I may kick myself later for spending the money, only to find out that I didn’t really need to! But what if I had not checked things out and my cat really needed help? Wouldn’t I be kicking myself ten times more! We all know what this is like and have done the same. And you don’t have the support system that some people here do — so it must make things even more difficult to handle! Big hugs!!
What I am focusing on now is the wonderful news that JoJo is well! Bloodwork is good. X-ray good! I guess that means he is no longer constipated or they would have seen backed up stool in his colon. Excellent! Hooray!!

But we bounced back and she is fine because we are managing her constipation better now, with a clear plan. Did his doctor tell you how to prevent it in the future, with Miralax or Lactulose? Lactulose has been the only thing to really work for Ruby but ECID. So glad it was not kidney failure for your Jojo!

What plan do you follow to manage Ruby's constipation? Bama suffers from it. I have found up to 1/8 teaspoon Psyllium Husk Powder mixed along with water into his wet food twice a day is a better remedy for him than pumpkin. I still use pumpkin occasionally which he likes but gets tired of. I have used a little Miralax in the past before I got the Psyllium Husk Powder.

I am so glad to hear little JoJo is okay. Life throws us some tough curve balls from time to time. Some folks get more than others. We can only push through and do our best and pray that everything will turn out well. Take care of yourself, Pamela. This news should help to relax and breath.
