I honestly thought that her AMPS # would MAYYBEEE below 100...? *shrug* Ok, so I was hoping for that, and I can not lie. Regardless, I'll take the below 100 PMPS #s that she's been giving me. No greeting this morning, but she looked at me and stretched as only cats do. :-D Since she's been in the lower #s, I've been seeing more of those particular stretches, which is nice to see again. 4 P's in place. She came in to bug me when it was time to feed. Good girl!

We did get that storm, but I had to shut down the computer just in case. The lights flickered, but stayed on. The sat dish went off, of course, but that was typical of it during storms. So, we started watching a recorded show, and then at about 10 last night, I decided to see if the sat dish was back on so that we could watch the news. It was, and saw the storm make it's way towards the south east. We got a fair amount of rain last night... How much, not sure. It's going to take a whole lot more rain for us to get out of the drought situation that we're in. All of the lakes are dangerously low right now.

MY WISH: For God to help those ailing make a full and speedy recovery... For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who lost a beloved pet and/or human... For everyone to have great #s... For everyone to be OTJ.

Re: 09/19 Blackie AMPS 112

Morning Angela, and Blackie is doing so well! So glad you had some rain and hope for more for TX! Have a wonderful day.

Re: 09/19 Blackie AMPS 112

Blackie...mom wants to see more greens!

and more rain will help with greens outdoors, as well...hope it comes through!

Re: 09/19 Blackie AMPS 112

Great start for Blackie! You are getting a little stingy wanting those greens huh Angela?

Glad you finally got some rain!! Great news. It will take us awhile to catch up as well but it is a nice relief finally.

Have a wonderful evening!

Re: 09/19 Blackie AMPS 112

Good day Blackie - wish WE had that 112 number.

Angela! Sort of worried if you'd get the same bad part of the storm...glad you only got rain. We got a whole .4 inch but THAT'S more than we've had in months here. I about right in between you there and Melissa & Tarragon in Tulsa.

PMPS 89, 3.75f, 0.50 oz. Evo 95% C&T

Tomorrow's day 7 of her being under 120, and then I'll be giving her a decrease on Wednesday morning. I thought I tested her today, but I guess I didn't. Not intentional.. Just got busy with some stitching, then laid down as I wasn't feeling well due to lack of sleep. Feel somewhat better (I truly hate napping during the day), but got a slight headache now. Considering this is a new pen, and a slightly lower # than the previous 2 nights, both the lancets and the monitor are ready to do their duty this evening. Guess I'm glad that I had that nap after all.

Re: 09/19 Blackie PMPS 89

Beautiful start for Blackie today!! I hear you on napping... if i try to take one, I just feel blech for the rest of the day. Hope you get some rest tonight!

Re: 09/19 Blackie PMPS 89

Nice green start for the evening! Hopefully Blackie will be nice to you this evening and just surf, if not...I am glad you got a nap in too.

You both are doing great!!

Re: 09/19 Blackie PMPS 89, +1 96

+1 96

Food spike, I'm guessing. That and/or the added feature of new insulin. Otherwise, she's her usually 'tudy self. Can't ask for anything more. :-D

+2 73 - 0.50 oz. Evo 95% C&T
+3 64 - 0.50 oz. Evo 95% C&T
+4.5 - 0.50 oz. steamed chicken

The lights went out at 7:12 p.m. (about +2), and it was rather "fun" testing in the semi-darkness. I had 4 hurricane lamps going (need more of those, I tell you), and one was set on the testing table. She wanted to smell the lamp, but I put a stop to that. Had to turn the lamp up to see what I was doing, of course. Finally, the electricity came back on just a bit after +3 test (about 9:05 a.m.). My only concern with the electricity being out was the insulin. I only opened the fridge door 1 time to get the food out so that I could keep it on the counter as I didn't want to open the fridge any more than that. I'm guessing that the insulin is still ok. The electricity usually comes back on within 2 hours max most times.
