Good day! On September 15, I gave an injection in the lower abdomen and something went wrong. At the injection site, a lump immediately formed with a bloody puncture site, and then a bright red bruise formed. It was red for two days. This morning the swelling has subsided a little, and it seemed to me that the brightness of the redness is no longer the same, but it’s still a red place. Did I hit the vessel hard or is there a problem with the blood? Has anyone had a situation where after the injection the bruise was red for a long time and did not turn purple-blue, like a simple bruise? And also, please send me a link to a good, detailed video teaching how to give an insulin injection. It seems to me that I still haven’t learned how to properly make a pyramid out of leather.
