WCR: All is good with Blackie. I'm sure that she's feeling a bit of my stress with having Shadow in the house. I'll work through it, like I always do. I'm not concerned that she's giving me higher #s anyway as I'm still continuing with this newest food experiment, and because she's getting a different amount with either time, higher #s are going to happen.
Off topic: Shadow is doing well, for the most part. She was under DH's desk this morning when I went to check on her at 5:30 this morning. I sat on the floor, and she came wobbling up to me to greet me; tail in the air, and the air full of purrs. No LB action overnight, though. So, I picked her up (twice), and put her gently in the box, where she wobbled out of it. I left the room to take care of the other boxes, including the one that's temporarily in the bedroom (hate having one there, but with 7 cats in the house, need at least 6 boxes in total for now). I came back inside the office, and she looked at me while inside the LB! Good girl!!! She did a pee... A good sized one, too. Not sure when Mr. Poo will show up, but at least she knows what a LB is.
I'll keep adding a bit of water to her wet food to ensure that she's getting some water. I'm not sure if she's drinking on her own at this point.
She's been scratching the ear that's got the lump, and this morning, I rubbed a very small amount of 1% hydrocortisone cream just on the inside of the flap itself closer to the edges as it looked kind of scabbish. The last thing I want her to do is scratch it so much that she'll scratch out the sutures. I think the wound is healing, which may be why she's scratching. However, I think there's also something going on with the inner ear itself, probably something to do with the tumor, or mass. If she needs to have the whole ear removed, I'm going to ask for a cone for her, if at all possible. I'll have to see what the vet says on that. The edge of the cone where it'll fit on her neck may interfere with the healing of the wound, depending on how far down he needs to cut. As much as I don't want any news, I hope to hear about the results today. Need to know what to do for her, and the sooner the better.
Right now, she's resting under my desk in her little box bed. She needs rest.

MY WISH: For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who lost a beloved pet and/or human... For God to help those ailing make a full and speedy recovery... For everyone to have great #s... For everyone to be OTJ.
