This morning, I could've strangled the syringe (if I could, I would have). I always check the top of the plunger to see where it's resting before I insert into the pen to draw. This morning was no different. I checked.. Saw that it was just slightly above the line, which required removal of a few drops. Fine. Insert needle, and drew to beyond desired measurement for removal of bubble. Commenced Operation Bubble Removal. Success. Removed excess insulin to what was thought to be desired dose. Shot dose. Rechecked plunger's location one more time to ensure that it was the correct amount. :shock: You're kidding me??? The plunger was level with the line. Say what?????? I'm hoping that it won't affect her #s.

Weight AMPS: 11.37 lbs.

+2 60 - 0.75 oz. Evo 95% C&T

So far, so good. I'm going to do a small mini curve (about 4-5 hour's worth) on her this a.m. to see how she's doing. Not to mention... 60 @ +2 is a tad unusual for her. :lol:

very nice start for Blackie today. looks like the syringe issue won't be a problem for Blackie - very nice +2. Good luck with the mini curve. I love dong those, not too sure Mannie does, but he's a good sport about it.

Awesome numbers Angela. Hope those pretty numbers continue just fine for ya. Syringes make us nutz too! Grrr. :roll:

I'm glad the syringe problem didn't affect Blackie's numbers. I don't think they make any syringe that works all of the time.

Cycle looks good Again today.
You'll know if you made a partial furshot later if the numbers change up on you.

The syringes are a pain no matter what.
I don't like having to measure them all with calipers but at least I can believe I load it consistently now.
Of course, technique is always subjective to the moment. :roll:

Sorry about the syringe problems this morning. I STILL say there should be better regulation with syringes! ugh -
