Furball's dental is this Wednesday morning. I will be dropping her off at 8:00 a.m. when the vet opens. She is supposed to fast the night before and only get half of her insulin. Hopefully she wont' be too low to get insulin. It worries me since she won't be eating that morning.

Hi Carla, Good start for Furball! I hope her dental goes well Wednesday and she stops ducking you at shot time and ab time. Fingers crossed she will not be too low from fasting to give her a half dose before the dental. Both of you have a great day!
 
I don't like to see pink for PMPS. Furball may have to have her dose increased after her dental on Wednesday unless she starts seeing better numbers.
 
Awww Carla, that hurts the bean, when kitty ducks from your hand.
Tux still does that to me and I've had him over ten years.
And I don't even give him meds. He can't possibly think I would hurt him.

I hope Furball's numbers come down after the dental. We can commiserate together on Wed., 'cause Tux (civvie) will be having dental also at that time. The house always seems lonely, when one is gone, huh?
 
Hi Carla - good luck with Furballs Dental this Wednesday. I too kinda wonder when my other kitty dicks from pets etc. After all these years she still does that. Well the AB's will be done soon, and then no more ducking. Right Furball?

I hope she comes done some for you. After her dental maybe she will need less insulin - sometimes they do. Mannie has with his last two. Wishing you much luck!

Directly after her dental, when you bring her home, please check her number, because In some cats, the anesthesia can significantly lower the BG that night, so you need to see where she is before shooting..
Moonie went very low the night after her dental, after her shot, so I would check her numbers that night..
The dental should Help her BG's be lower, so she may surprise you!!
Their teeth are so important..Hope it is an easy dental and Furball is better than new-
It is great that she is getting abs before the dental, even though they hate it--Moonie too! Hugs & Love from us!
