Power outage - just came back on. I forgot we bought a generator months ago . How could I forget that? Why do you, me, do so many stupid things when the power is out - like constantly turning on light switches among other things :p Poor Dolly is stressed and bouncing :woot::woot:

When we lost power I would do the same thing turn in light switches :p
I'm glad it's back on, so now go rest since Dolly is bouncing :bighug::bighug:
She'll calm down . Talk to you later :bighug::bighug:

Dolly is looking really good with her numbers! Sorry to hear your power was out - at least you have a generator. We have one too...the power grid here in SE Michigan is very antiquated and it goes out with every storm. The power company says they're focus is to 'trim the trees'....yeah, right. Hard to keep up with a gazillion trees...they won't spend the $$$ to move the lines under ground...it's been like this for over 25 years - so we just bought a whole-house generator and now we don't think much about it - but I know what you mean about hitting switches - it's just a habit - typically the light 'does' come on when you hit the switch!

Take care and give Dolly some scritches from us :)

Hi Sue, was thinking just yesterday that we haven’t connected in awhile. How is Bill doing? Hope he has progressed enough to do the things he likes to do. I see Luci is up and down. I always think of what you told me when test time is coming up and you do stuff in the kitchen while whistling ((I think) ignoring her under the table, probably getting ready to take off :woot: I know I may not have this exactly right . Hope your mom is doing okay. Hope you are not working too hard ;) Thanks for writing. Take good care, all of you. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Diane, just got home and going to “try” to nap. I have been weird all day. Had a hair appointment. Hope Ashley is doing well today. Hope you and Tyler are behaving yourselves :D. How are things going with your dad and all that’s been going on? I will write later, hope you are having a good day. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hey Adrienne, I ran out and did some errands, got a hair cut also, If I had the face I would shave it all off or cut it so short something like Mia Farrow had.
Just fed Tubby :p so he's good for about 3 hours
I'll talk to you later :bighug::bighug:

Hi Diane. Dolly is at 195 and really sleepy. Just found out from credit agency that someone we did not authorize pulled our credit report:banghead::nailbiting::banghead: somehow. I am too tired for this.

I remember her haircut and I always wanted to look like her or Natalie Wood or …..

See you later or tomorrow. Big hugs to all :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Yes, Bill is doing just fine! He's a lot more active now that he's got that new hip! We've had a rough Summer but things are starting to get back on the rails.

Yes, Luci is still being her typical self...DH taught her to jump up onto the testing towel by tapping her favorite comb on the counter - and SHE DOES IT! He wasn't able to pick her up because of his hip and had to figure out another way. Now - most of the time - she gets up on the counter and waltzes over to the testing towel by herself...not always, but most of the time. She sits there and purrs and expects to be combed...so we always comply. DH was saying something about her intelligence yesterday (or lack thereof)...and I said I wish I was that smart! To have two full grown people enslaved to my every whim! HA! She's managed to completely control our lives with her schedule and testing routines...how's that for smart?

Mom is still having a tough time adjusting to her new environment and sometimes makes no sense at all. It'll take a few months before she settles in - it always does. One reason why I just hate moving her - she has such a difficult time adjusting to new things, new people. Hopefully in another month or two she'll settle in.

Hope your hip is getting better and you're back to being more normal too! Take care and enjoy your weekend!
