09/5 we reduced his PM insulin to 1.75 because he fell to 85(AT)/70(RO) @ +4
09/6 we reduced his PM insulin to 1.5 because he fell to 92(AT)/72(RO) @ +11.5
09/07 we reduced his AM insulin to 1.25 becuase he fell 65 @ +4 last night.

He didn't eat all of his breakfast this morning and then a few hours after had some diarrhea (half liquid half solid). He also spit up a little bit more white foam twice. The second time was after the +4 hr check after I let him munch on breakfast left overs. It had some of the food he ate then but was mostly white foam. He has no other symptoms and acts normal.

323(AT) / 350 (RO) @ +6
Poor fella, I hope he dosen't climb into the 400's. I can't imagine how uncomfortable that must feel :(
I hope he feels better and has a gentle slide back down, Maddie. Ivy is having a similar cycle to Kai after her green streak yesterday.
It’s so hard to watch the extremes!

Thank you for you kind words, Staci! It's nice to know i'm not alone in this, but I am so sorry that Ms. Ivy is also having a difficult time. I hope she gets better soon, also. :bighug:

His PMPS was at 325(AT)/330(RO)

I'm just a little worried about the runny stool so I'm trying to introduce Boulardii to his evening meal tonight. He was on Proviable but I read a couple threads suggesting Boulardii is better. I'm hoping this might help with his upset stomach and prevent it from getting worse. However, Kai doesn't like change... even the tiniest little change can "ruin" his appetite . For example, whenever I open a new bag of his freez dried treats, the "newness" of that bags just dosen't sit right with him, so he wont accept treats from it right away. So we are having a stand-off similar to when I began introducing him to a wet only diet. I just have to wait him out for a few minutes. He want's the food but he just isn't sure about that new addition. However, we are getting close to shoot time and I don't want to delay him so I may surrender and just give him his food with out the Boulardii for tonight. I probably shouldn't have even attempted that change since we are on a dose reduction. One battle at a time, i guess.

HAHA! Nevermind. Success! Just as I was about to remove the food he came over and starting munching away. Ate it all up:cat:
