Yesteray afternoon and evening, J.D. did not come out from under the bed. He did come out and slept with me last night.

J.D. came down into the blues by himself this morning. We went for a nice 30 minute walk in the dark at 5:00am (AMPS) this morning (such beautiful stars and milky way out here in the country!). We went back to bed and he slept with me, and then I was woken by my brother calling to say that he and his family were on the way. J.D. was still in a good mood, at that time, and so we again went out for a little walk in front of the house, before all the strangers come.

I then took him into the garage/workroom with me to post this condo. When he wanted out, I opened the door, and he saw Ted for the first time. J.D. is now back under the bed, and probably will stay there all day. Big crowd of people today.

I may be able to come back and visit some condos tonight, but it will be real late.

I hope everybean and everycat has a good Sunday.
 
Ted can't get him if he is under the bed...go J.D....LOL...

Oh, and Ginger is under the green umbrella with her green towel and her green bikini...
She and Raja are in cahoots to help these boys think green! They are all having a good time.
maybe some jet skiing later and maybe a dolphin watch boat trip... :mrgreen:
 
very nice JD! I'm so happy to hear that he was able to bring himself down by himself. He's not doing to bad on vacation!
I'm not sure who Ted is (haven't read yesterday's condo's cuz I was out in Slippery Rock for the most part of yesterday and this morning), but he needs to leave my JD alone!!!!

In case you didn't see what I replied to you in my condo...I will post it here...

DYANA..Of COURSE she thinks of you. They have finally convinced her that you miss her a lot and that you will be coming home to her soon. She thought you guys were gone for good. isn't it something how they can misunderstand things some times. I think she gets it now...a vacation away from home and then one goes back home again. :razz:
But for now, she is not thinking of you and is trying out a jet ski...don't worry...she had lessons!

it's ok, J.D., Lucy says under the bed is the BEST place to sleep. She sleeps there all the time. Nice blue. :smile:
 
Well, JD IS on vacation ya know! He just wants a little peace, quiet and relaxation. For us humans that can often time be IN bed. For cats, thats UNDER the bed! ;-) Overall, he is doing amazingly well. So great he can travel with you. Very lucky dont you think?

So do you use a leash or harness when you take him out for a walk? I figured at home he knew not to go far, but somewhere unfamiliar??? Just curious.

Did you post photos that I missed, of your travels?

Hope you had fun with all the mixing and mingling today.

and then came PMPS of 244.

J.D. actually did well considering. I took him out for a very brief showing/visit with the company, and then promised him he could be alone the rest of the day.....But, when I went to test the +9.25 I was followed into the bedroom by a 2 year old Hazel (my nephew's daughter, grand niece? whatever it's called), anyway, J.D. hissed at her and she tried to poke him with her finger in his face (at his black button nose) as I tested. Now, all the company has gone, and J.D. is still a little leary of coming out from under the bed, but I have left a loose harness with a short lead on him, so I can easily get him out by pulling on the leash..am I bad?

It is starting to get dark out, and hopefully, J.D. will enjoy ? a little time outside this evening, just me and him.

Carolyn, yes, he only goes out on a harness and leash. He does know this property pretty well, and knows exactly where all the doors are, and stands there next to them, hoping someone will let him back in the house, a lot. I have taken a bunch of pictures, but haven't posted them yet, as my parents do not have my camera's software installed on their (this) computer. I will try, to post pictures upon my return home...and I get to see my little baby girl Ginger! :-D :-D :-D again.
 
just wanted to let you know, dyana & jd...ginger was a perfect lady at the beach today...and we all were perfect gentlemen. muffin was a little wild, but classy at the same time. How do girls pull that off? shadow told a dirty joke tho...

Thanks for the update Binks. I just keep thinking that all this partying and socializing with other kitties; and my little girl isn't going to be my little girl for much longer. I think, she's going to want to go to more and more parties and functions, and I'll just be the parent that provides her with food and clothes. :lol:

However, I thank you guys from the bottom of my heart, for looking out for her, and letting her join in with your fun. :-D
 
Beautiful blues. Hopefully, that PMPS turns blue, too.

I don't blame J.D. for being under the bed. Too much change and too much commotion.
 
Nice day for JD today, Dyana! I think JD had the purrfect place to hang out today, under the bed!
Sound like you have been keeping busy with the family. I know you are enjoying you visit lots...JD not so much, but he is being very tolerant, for sure.

Spot has stopped past to visit Ginger and he has informed me that everyone is behaving themselves at the gatherings and that the have all been taking turns keeping the house straightened out. Not sure if I believe him or not, lol!
