I'm surprised by the numbers we have been seeing - he's staying low despite decreasing and many half doses. I've been using some carby food to curb him - even every hour from +2 - +6.

@Wendy&Neko could it be that his new 'base' dose might be maybe even 20 or less? Does it make sense that the depot has evened out by this point since the last time we gave him the 30u?

It could be that he's breaking through some glucose toxicity, which typically means the dose goes down. Tonight is 7 cycles since you last gave 30 units, it's influence should be greatly reduced. I wouldn't say the depot has "evened out" because you haven't been able to stay consistent with dosing. Maybe try 18 units and see if you can hold it more than a few cycles?
