09/04 Miou +11=86 PMPS=83 +2=61 +3=58 +4=63

Yesterday

I am late today to post... My mom lately has a terrible crisis of gout in her right hand and I have to take care of her too. You know how old people can be... Ah ok ranting mode off - let me state Miou's situation.
She is doing great actually, she had a +11 of 84 and an AMPS of 77, but I went ahead and gave her a shot as I would be home most of the day.
I am afraid though I might have done a fur shot.
She is steadily surfing the 70's till now.

I will have to be out for a class in the afternoon and wont be able to monitor from +8.5 to +11, and that makes me a bit nervous.
Should I feed her some HC before I leave home? Or just leave her LC food out for as long I will be gone?

If you gave a fur shot, do NOT give a 2nd shot. You don't know how much insulin went in. It's not safe to give more insulin.

I would wait until it's closer to when you have to leave the house to decide whether you need to feed and if so, what the carb level would need to be. It looks like Miou's cycles are a very flat, safe green. Unless something is different today, your kitty may be fine with low carb.

I would never do that no worries. It was one of the first things the vet told me, as most of my questions then were about how we shoot etc.

will check her at +8 and +8.5 right before I leave so I know if the numbers are going up or down
I want to be careful because, although her cycles are in general flat, she sometimes deeps a bit at +10

Miou was ok while I was away!
She had a +8=70 so I fed her LC food before I left. I also has some more ready so that my mother could give her after a while.
I guess she had a bit too much to eat, and she seemed to happy for that flip_cat
Her PMPS is 83 and she had her usual shot of 0.25
I hope she and all our kitties here have a smooth night cat_pet_icon

Ah it seems its time for cause I am so sleepy I-)
Miou went down to 58 and can't help myself from worrying... Although judging from her data she will start rising anytime now
... but still there is this what if, that does not let me go to sleep and just put an alarm in a couple of hours, as I was planning to do

I think Miou is doing great, and Knock On Wood, if you can stick it out a few more weeks.. I know that seems like a long time, but I see a nice future for Miou and some sleeping in for you, too You're doing great.

a few more weeks?... ah it really sounds like a long long time ...with no sleep ...I hope I don't get sick after all this tiring days and sleepless nights

She's come up a bit and she's surfing. That is good. I would set an alarm and try to get an hour's sleep.
If she is still rising at that time, then give yourself a couple of hours sleep. I never used to sleep in or take naps. I learned to do it. You can do this.

What I expected with my logical side came true... As her numbers show Miou would start rise at about +4 or +5... of course the diff is small, but as Sienne has pointed out earlier today, Miou's cycles are very flat
... it seems my baby cat_pet_icon likes the 60's a lot
... she is a rock and roll kitty lol

I will do that Dyanna... set the alarm take Miou with me in bed to be sure and sleep a bit in between tests
