09/02/20 Dolly - dosage help please (SLGS)

Dolly started 1 unit of Lantus every 12 hours 9 days ago. I am reading about dosing methods and not sure which way to go, if her dosage is correct, should I do a curve today? I gave her a fat 1 unit this morning per her vet. She had labs, results yesterday, and she emptied her bladder before they could test her urine. Vet was able to check for ketones and said there were small/trace amounts. Could someone look at her spreadsheet and and give me your thoughts on what to do. Thank you.

Thank you. I did a curve today, my first, never did one her first time around. Started the 1.25 dose tonight. It’s challenging for someone with vision issues. I need to get a magnifier. She went up at +2.5, makes me nervous, plus her poor little ear.

Magnifiers are what I used. That plus a light background, good overhead light. Some people use craft magnifiers or you can buy headlamps with magnifiers.

I bought from Amazon the glasses with, I think, led light.
