Puddin is still having diarrhea. He's perked up a bit, but still not himself as it pertains to appetite and activity. I got him fortiflora mostly as an appetite stimulant - he is very interested in the fortiflora, but not the food. I'd say he's eating 1/2 of his usual amount of food with the coercive measures in place. I also discovered the hydracare product and am mixing it with a little bit of water to ensure he gets some liquid. He's refusing his usual food that I mix with water so I'm not sure how much water he's getting in compared to previously - i would guess not very much. He does not seem dehydrated by the scruff test or checking his gums, but I'm finding him hanging around the water bowl again and also very little and more concentrated urine (I haven't been able to catch a urine to test for ketones yet).
I may try s.boulardi which I've read many people mention for diarrhea on here. My other cat that was vomiting is still not 100% well (low appetite). We'll see how they do tomorrow! I'm glad the fortiflora and hydra care are at least helping him eat and drink more.
