Good morning!

Sly had a reduction last night to 1.5 units, fingers and paws crossed that he holds it!!

His brother Keebler is doing well, he ate last night's snack, had a few YA kibbles and this morning he was all over me for breakfast. I opted to not give him FF pate, just to ensure he had no aversion, and he cleaned his plate. I also decided that RC food is like a giant sponge and he and Jessica will only get YA and a few of the other kibbles I bought for my rescues ( it's called Chicken Soup for the Soul, and it regulated the poops of 5 cats, so I would say that's a win).
Anyway, he loved it and was a little monster on his plate. He is now preening and chilling out. Thank goodness!

Happy Full Blue Moon!

So glad Sylvester got another reduction and is doing so well. I didn't know Keebler was sick, I'm so sorry, it's so stressful to manage more than one cat with a 'condition' at a time. Glad he is doing better. :bighug::bighug:

Sadly he regurged all over the bed... I honestly think he just overdid it, going from plate to plate. This is not unusual for him after breakfast, he does regurgitate after eating too much.

Naturally, he was hungry, so he ate a tablespoon of gravy and half of what Jess didn't eat.

I called the Vet, they said as long as he has appetite and pooped, I could give him Cerenia to see if that just settles his stomach, and give him today to relax. Otherwise if he continues to regurge or have diarrhea, lethargy, etc.then bring him in. They're open tomorrow and Friday.

I gave him the Cerenia, he drank a little water, and went to lay down... I'll keep y'all posted, thanks for all the love!

Hi Deb, Im so glad that Keeler's appetite is back, sorry he threw up all over the bed, he probably stuffed himself ,the little gavone :p
I hope no vet visit is needed.
Good luck with the reduction, don't forget to fill in Sly's AMPS for n your SS for this morning :bighug::bighug::bighug::cat:
Just in case you have never heard of a gavone
gavone. Italian word meaning someone who. 1) Eats too much and is a pig. 2) Or takes more than he can eat.

I'm Italian and familiar with gavones! Hahahahahaha! Yep, I think that's what it was. I did give him the Cerenia yesterday and this morning. It was a single regurge incident, so I think we're on the right track!!:bighug:
