Good morning Lizzie and Gizmo :). Praying the rain moves out soon so clean up can begin. So glad Gizmo is doing well in the middle of all of this :)

Gizmo seems unfazed by it all. Nice start for the day:cool:
Hoping the rains subside. Glad you still have power!! Sending lots of prayers:bighug:

Hope you and Giz are staying somewhat dry and doing well. Nice to have power and hopefully water, makes a huge difference in comfort. As a fellow FDMB'er in hurricane alley I can sympathize with how life disrupting these storms are.

Stay safe Lizzie and Gizma et al. Glad you still have power and water. When we lose power, we lose water as we have a well . Got to say that the no water is harder on me than no electric .

Lizzie, is it possibly time for more warm brownies ? ;) .....it is a blessing to watch the hearts of the Texan people as they help one another ....warms the heart :) :bighug::bighug:

Are you in Brazoria county? I am reading they really wany people out because of those levys breeching. (Columbia Lakes says it has been breeched.)

Just want y'all to continue to be safe!!! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Just checking in, Lizzie . Are you still ok ? Watching reservoirs emptying into so far untouched neighborhoods. Prayers continuing for you and Houston area :bighug::bighug::bighug:

PMPS=190 :eek:

No, we are way north of there. My stepson, however, is just south of there about 20 miles but last we heard he was dry but without power.

Thank you again everyone for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers :bighug:. People are getting fatigued and frustrated (to be expected) but we will get through this. The devastation is just unbelievable. The rain has calmed to just a drizzle. Work is cancelled for tomorrow again - we couldn't leave anyway. Hubby tried today for about an hour (he was trying to get to his mother - long story). We can't go anywhere outside about a 3 mile radius.

Gizmo is looking great.
Not sure about that PMPS. I think he needed to poo cause right after eating he headed upstairs to the LB.

Our back yard is completely filled with birds. Mostly cardinals and doves, lots of hummers fighting over the feeder. I picked up Gizmo to show him and there was a Baltimore Oriole! I had never seen one here before. Spectacular bird. Must have blown in on the winds.
