Good Afternoon!

Mowgli is living that flat yellow life :) This morning I gave him a can of FF for breakfast and he totally executed a scarf and barf... he finished the whole can!!! I put out another can for him before I left for work ;)

I'm looking forward to the end of the day so I can get home and just veg!

I forgot to mention something that my BFs cousin told me, she is a nurse who works with the elderly. She told me, as per the professional language standards in Canadian Nursing that: "Mowgli is not a diabetic cat, he is a cat living with diabetes" :P I thought that was nice :)

The disease shouldn't name the disease holder!
I'm a diabetic. Commonly said, but I'm a person first, way before diabetes comes into focus. We don't commonly call people with other diseases like arthritis, Arthritics, for example!!

Totally!! I had never heard it worded like that and I thought it was much more thoughtful and accurate :)

That is so SO true Carla! you're very thoughtful and wise :) Mowgli does know one thing though: he gets more pokes than Nyx for some reason... 100% more pokes than Nyx... he looks at me like: WHAT is with this math ;) :P

He actually never complains and he always wants to snuggle! such a good boy :)

Ok Amanda,
Maybe you should let Mowgli witness you giving Nyx a little poke in the ear. You could just fake the show!
