Yesterday (08/26): AMPS 294 but she had eaten a few pieces of low-carb dry food about 30 min prior to testing as I forgot to remove the bowl.

ohhh look at that 109 the other night at PMPS! Almost a green!

I highly recommend when you get a slightly lower PMPS like that --- try and get at least one more test around 2 hours after the shot or so. If it is an active cycle Snow could go quite low and a test at +2 should give you an indication of whether or not the cycle is being active like that. And if it is, you may need to stay up even later and test some more, and be prepared to intervene with Karo or high carb food like FF gravy lovers. Cats often go lower at night. Hendrick earned his first reduction at 12:30am one night when I stayed up on a whim.

If I had been sleeping, I would have never seen that 48.

@Hendrick Cuddleclaw supper good to know! I find myself checking that she’s breathing normally every few hours when I wake up but actual numbers would be more helpful (and reassuring, no doubt).
