PAMI 1979-2011 Pami crossed the bridge on August 24, 2011, at 11:00. Pami was an abused rescue. She came to me when she was 5 months old. Pami was passive-aggressive. She was exceptionally good with my grandchildren when she was yound but not so good with adults. She loved my son, Rich and me. She is now grazing peacefully with Mona, Tommy, Handsome, Gumpi and Campi. She was a truly a very special Lady. I have her son, Khoko, so a part of her still remains. She will be missed / Her absence leaves a large void and she will always hold a special place in my heart.

If tears could build a stairway,
and memories could build a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven
and bring you home again....
 
Sorry for your loss. It's always so hard to see them leave us. Sounds like she had a fabulous life with you. Lucky girl! Prayers and hugs for you and your family.

You have me crying. Barbara I am so sorry. Pami was so lucky to have your heart and be yours. Sending you lots of hugs.
 
I'm so sorry to hear about Pami. It sounds like you had a beautiful long life together though. Those are the hardest to lose.

I am so sorry. I know how much Pami means to you. She'll have all of our kitties to play with. Just think they'll all now have a horse to ride! Scritches to Tuffy and the rest of your crew -- I hope they keep your heart a little lighter at this difficult time.

Pami was so special and so loved. She had a wonderful life with you and your family. We are very sorry to hear that she is now at the Bridge. But the grass is sweet there, and she will have many companions until you meet again: kitty companions as well as Mona, Tommy, Handsome, Gumpi and Campi. Fly free, sweet girl, on your beautiful, golden wings.

Dearest Barb, It is with deepest sorrow that I read this post--I know how much Pami meant to you, and how much she loved you. You gave her a life when there was almost none, and took amazing care of her for 32 years..She was loved by your family, and had such a good life with you..You lived for her, as you do for all your animals. Any animal that finds you finds the best home ever!
My heart hurts so much for you, I know how hard this was for you..Now Pami is with your other babies in a place where there is no pain, yes, sweet grass, and beautiful fields. You will see her again someday.
Praying for you in your sorrow, and hope you find some peace. Our thoughts are with you, love from us!

I am so sorry that you lost your sweet baby Pami. She was much loved and a very lucky kitty to have been taken into your home. I hope your many happy memories can help you through this very hard time.

I was so sorry to see this post - I know how devoted you were to Pami. You gave her a beautiful life. I am sure that she felt your love here on earth and that she feels it now all the way up in heaven. I know that your heart is breaking right now - just know that there are lots of people who care about you and that you and all your furbabies are in our thoughts and prayers... You are one special person and an absolute angel to all the "rescues" you have met along the way.
Now, Pami will be your angel...

i'm so very sorry - pami sounds like she had a wonderful life with you. from a troubled start you gave her a real home - the best that life could bring her. she must've been a real blessing in your life, barbara - and you in hers.

I'm very sorry about Pami. I can not believe she was 32 - did I get that right or am I seeing things? That is the oldest cat I have ever heard of. How wonderful for you both!!!! What a success story.
 
Thank you for all your support on a very difficult day. I posted in LL because you are all our extended family. I am bless to be surrounded by so many caring people. Katie, my vet, was extremely caring today. She is kind, compassionate and patient. Her courage and compassion made a difficult time much easier for me. A candle has been lit for Pami at the Hoof-Beats-In-Heaven. I have many beautiful memories of Pami and perhaps the most significant is the fact that she did not suffer, she passed peacefully surrounded by love. She looked fantastic today. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
