It would be really awesome if I could quit screwing things up:banghead:... I forgot to pick up one of the snack bowls that I leave out for her at night when I collected the bowls this morning for her 2 hour fast so I'm not 100% positive her AMPS isn't food influenced, there was still a little food left in it so it is possible that she ate some of it during her 2 hour fast. It would have been 2 maybe 3 tsp of LC pate... I don't know if because her AMPS could be food influenced if that means the # will appear to drop more drastically by +2 but I'm thinking maybe today I need to get a +1 and +3 instead, idk. To top it off I didn't hear my alarm again this morning, but atleast I was only 20 minutes late this time.
All I know is I really need to get my sh*t together. ;)

Don't be so hard on yourself. :bighug: Wanting the PS to not be influenced by food is more important in lower numbers. Even then, once a CG is used to lower numbers, it's no sweat if the cat eats within the 2 hours before the shot. I think you can start tests at +3 this AM.

Ok, thank you :)... Is it ok if she drops a lot this morning like she has been, should I keep feeding her 1tsp every hour for the first 4 hours to try to slow the drop?

You might want to get her into the habit of eating a part of her PS meal at +1 and +2 to slow drops. In cycles where she is bouncing, it won't matter so much, but in active cycles it helps to slow drops since sharp drops can also trigger bounces. As for feeding ever hour, let her numbers be your guide.

I usually give her ½ can of ff at ps then spread the other half throughout the first half of the cycle.

She's pretty flat between PMPS and +2. If you are going to be up anyway till +3, you could get a test then and call it a night. Or if you're going to bed now, you could set an alarm for +5 or +6.

+3 is in a couple/few minutes... I can wait til then . Is it ok if I run her +3 BG number by you to make sure it'll be ok to call it a night?

Well crap... +3 is 160... I don't get it, I gave her a snack at +1 and +2. Do you think it will still be ok to call it a night now or should I set an alarm for +5 or +6?

Sorry. Just saw this. Yes. Feed her some LC again now and set an alarm for +6. Leave food out for her.
No worries... Will do... I think I have it set for +5½ and I set a second alarm Incase I don't hear the first one. Gave her 2tsp. LC and left out about 5 or 6 tsp. LC.
