He's either bouncing, or he needs a dosecrease come tomorrow night. He's ruining his 14 day average which is now at 179, and his 30 day average is at 201 believe it or not. It was from all those good days spent at Camp Dian.

J.D. ate all of his 1st Breffis and all of Ginger's 1st Breffis.

Ginger was using the facilities, and was standing diagonally in the box. J.D. was trying to get in there too, and Ginger was growling at him. Well J.D. finally backed off. Ginger made the stinkiest pile of wet poo and jumped out. I quickly covered it, because she ran off and away from the smell, so that J.D. could use the box.

I found out yesterday, that I am going to have to work a 3:00pm to midnight shift on Saturday, so J.D. will go with me, and I may not be posting until later on Sunday morning because of it.

Sheesh, midnight shift! Thanks for telling us. Want me to check in earlier than normal here? (I think I'm usually about 2 hours or so earlier - my usual LL check-in time is around 8am my time, but I'm happy to do earlier if you want the back-up.)

I think you're 6 hours ahead of me, Jane. I am usually on by 6:00am or 5:30am, and sometimes 5:00am if someone needs me up that early. My 6:00am would be 12:00pm (noon) your time. It would be great if you could look in on the board around noonish on Sunday. Thanks, if you can do it, Jane :YMHUG:

Getting your roster straightened out, are you? Well, glad you guys will have it all under good control!
Guess it's hard with the time changes.... :lol:
I used to work that shift everyday Dyana....it's nice once you get used to it, but only doing it one day out of the week will be weird.....hope J.D. enjoys his time with you. He is a big help, right? ;-)
All the kitties are so envious of him having a "job" and all! :mrgreen:

I emailed Feline's Pride asking for a sample of their food, and came home to a huge package at my doorstep.
I tried to call them and received a message stating that their normal working hours are Monday through Thursday from something to 4:00pm (it's 6:26pm, now).
I don't know what to do with the food.
This is what I emailed back to them, just now:
Jennifer.. I just received a huge package outside my door. It was heavy and had four 2.5lb containers of four different varieties of raw food. Is that the sample you were sending? I didn't know what to do with it, except put it all in the freezer. I opened one of them since it's feeding time for my cats anyway, and was able to take a spoonful of the raw rabbit out and give it to my cat, who did not eat it by the way. If this is the free sample, and I am supposed to keep this package, how do I portion out the big 2.5lb container before it freezes all up? I mean, I'm not going to feed him 2.5lbs at once, and I've always heard that you can not refreeze raw meat once it's been thawed, so I don't know what to do here. Please let me know how to portion the food out. Should I scoop it out of the containers and put smaller portions into baggies before it's completely thawed? If I wait too long, I'm afraid it's going to be frozen solid.
Am I supposed to return the shipment, because it wasn't really a "sample"?

J.D. was 448 at +1.25, so I knew he would come down.

I doubt that's the sample but there's not going to be a way to return it that won't cause it to defrost in transit.

I would keep one of the tubs out and put the others in the freezer. It takes several days for the tub to completely defrost. I would scrape around the edges for the thawed food and serve it to Gab ad Giz. FWIW, I eventually started making my own because the shipping was so expensive.
 
I wonder why he went so high up at +2.25. He wouldn't eat the raw rabbit I gave him, so I cooked it and he ate it, but it was a tiny bit.
Letting the cats out for a bit, while I try to portion out this food.
