At least 3 P's in place this morning. Not sure if I got a purr yet or not. Otherwise, all is in order.

Had another opportunity to go out last night for dinner, and we took it. Needless to say, someone's fuds got a bit adjusted last night, and her #s reflect that this morning. I expected it, and am not concerned at all. Still working on the weight issue, although, Momma Bean could lose a lb. or 2, also. Yesterday, I found some contraband remnants, and I'm sure that her #s were high 2 days ago because of that, too. Hmmmm... The culprit for giving up said contraband... Aurora, one of my civvies. Probably ate too much, and coughed up a hairball too. It happens. Will get a weight check in a few days. She may get her fuds adjusted yet again soon. *sigh* It seems to be easy to put the weight on a kitty, however, trying to take it off, even a lb., is almost next to impossible it seems. Bad enough that she's diabetic... Don't need any more health issues on top of it.

MY WISH: For God to help those who are ailing make a full and speedy recovery... For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who lost a beloved pet and/or human... For everyone to have great #s... For everyone to be OTJ.

Re: 08/14 Blackie AMPS 125

Morning! nice amps Blackie - green later, yes?

Good luck with the weight issue. It is tough to get it off. Mannie needs to drop a few pounds too - been hard to even get a few ounces off.... Good luck!

Nice start for Blackie. Good luck with the weight issue. It is so hard getting them to the proper weight. Maggie is probably one pound overweight or a little more. Have a nice day and glad you got out for a nice dinner last night.

Re: 08/14 Blackie AMPS 125

It's easy to put on weight, murderous to take it off, not just for kitties but for the Beans as well

Hope you, Blackie and the civvies enjoy your Sunday

I didn't expect a  this evening. In fact, I expected a higher #. Glad she surprised me again... Pleasantly, too.

Re: 08/14 Blackie PMPS 97

I hear ya on the weight issue, when Leo was dx he was skin and bones and it was all i could do to keep weight on him, now its the complete opposite and he's pushing 18 lbs again :o !! I hope Blackie is doing alright with her diet, does she hound you for food at all?

Very nice PMPS!!!

+4 - 0.80 oz. steamed chicken

Yeah, she does, but I don't give in. As it is, she's getting 0.93 oz. of Evo 95% C&T 6x a day, and 0.80 oz. of steamed chicken 2x a day. Her total calorie intake is 259.8, or 260 calories/day. I "THINK" she's shed 1/2 a lb. since this diet. I weighed her 2x and both times showed her being at 12 lbs. I'll weigh her again tomorrow, and see where she's at. I'd like to see her at 11 lbs., and I think that'll be a safe enough weight for her. 10 lbs. may be a bit too much. I read somewhere (perhaps on Dr. Lisa's website somewhere) that most female cats should weigh anywhere from 10 - 11 lbs.

Moonie is about 10.7 lbs & eats almost 3 cans of ff a day!! Guess those exercise videos are helping her :dizcat --Only kidding!! Dont know why some cats put on weight & some dont?--Hard for me to lose a lb!!
Probably harder for a kitty--Be patient, it will happen!--Just make sure to give a lot of HUGS & lots of chicken(Moonie loves that)--It cant hurt!
Moonie surprised me too tonite--Hope you all have a good Ni Ni & Hugs! :-D

I posted a thread on the Health section of this board to see if anyone knows the calorie content of a boneless, skinless chicken breast, and it turns out to be 200 for 194 grams of chicken fillet. Combined with the Evo, she's getting about 260 calories/day. Hence, the reason for my taking into consideration the calorie count of the chicken, too. Every little bit of calorie counting helps to determine the weight loss, or weight gain, depending on the situation. :-D
