The greeting was a bit delayed this a.m., but she still came into the room.
I think with the 0.10 oz. of steamed chicken omitted from her diet is helping. I need to find out how many calories are in an ounce of steamed chicken. According to 1 website, there's 142 calories/3 ounces of roasted chicken (skinless), but I can't find anything in the steamed chicken department. Does anyone know?
Her weight, I think, is hovering around 12-12.5 lbs. I'll give her another day or 2 to adjust to this the amount of food that she's getting, and go from there. I'm reluctant to decrease her Evo anymore than 0.90 oz. tops (25 grams... She's currently getting 0.93 oz., which is 26 grams). I may reduce her steamed chicken by another 0.10 oz., considering I don't know the calorie content of it (as mentioned above).
Her jumping onto my footstool is becoming more common at night now. It's good to see her a bit more active; if not in play at least in jumping up onto furniture. She's taken to laying on the couch next to a fluffy pillow, which she sometimes climbs onto to lay on. In my opinion, it's too danged hot to be laying on a pillow. :lol: However, if a kitty must be a queen for day, then so be it. :lol: I'll try and get a +9 or so before her PS this evening to see where she's at. I hate to disturb the slumbering princess, but I'll see if it can be done.
MY WISH: For God to help those who are ailing make a full and speedy recovery... For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who lost a beloved pet and/or human... For everyone to have great #s... For everyone to be OTJ.
