Hi all,

Nana's number's seem to be all over the place. Today I got a 55 at +4! Her nadir is usually at +6. It seems the dose is good for some days then it drops her really low.

She was at the vet last week and all her blood work is fine. Her glucose was 92 at the lab. The vet was unable to send blood samples to MSU for IAA and IGF testing. He said he needed to learn how to do it and that he will research it for the next follow-up.

He said that Nana looks very healthy and that I am looking to much into this.

Anyway, can someone look at her chart and make sense of it? One day the dose looks to keep her near 150 then the next day it drops her to hypo levels. It's not making sense to me.

Also, sometimes the evening shot seems to do nothing and then out of nowhere, a low reading shows up

Thanks

Is it possible to get more tests during the day? Night too if possible - I know that's difficult (at least for me)...

Maybe some of the experts like @Wendy&Neko or @Jill & Alex (GA) would be able to weigh in.

I think her numbers look pretty good...I see what mean about the highs at AMPS and PMPS - it could just be her curve...she reaches her nadir at those low numbers - I'm guessing! And when does she start to climb again? More tests will help you get a better picture of what's going on.

I test my Luci a lot - take a look at Luci's SS - she has the same kind of picture highs and lows...but it's the trend we're watching for with insulin...it takes time to work...If I had to guess I'd say her depot is full and is contributing to those nice numbers - again...more testing would be helpful to get better trending for Nana... hope that's helpful :)

Since you are using the AT meter, that 55 means her dose needs to go down to 5.0 units. The reduction point on the AT is below 68. Good catch today.

Your vet needs to get mailers from MSU. Easy peasy.
