Good morning :):cat:

Sending healing prayers to all of the kitty cats and their caretakers that are not feeling their best
:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Dolly was off yesterday, very lethargic, difficult to get her for testing in the evening. Gave up at +2.5. Fed her and monitored her until almost 1 am. Just as I fell asleep I woke up to the most beautiful sounds. Dolly was actually playing with her toys outside my bedroom doorway. It was very noisy and I just lay there listening. This kitty never ceases to amaze me. :joyful:

So glad to hear Dolly was up for some play time. Sorry, you didn't get much sleep last night but I understand. It can be hard to sleep when you are concerned. Hope Dolly did well today and that you got a nap in. I know what you mean by "this cat never ceases to amaze me". I would rather not be surprised though. Take care, Adrienne.

Hi Summer, I agree about most surprises.:rolleyes: Happy to see that Susie is more stable today in blues. Like I always tell you and Susie, she looks so pretty in blue :cool:. Hope your mom is doing okay, getting old and all that comes with, well, they are not the golden years, at least not for us and most older people I know. Hope you are doing well and got a nap today. Thank you for checking in and your kindness. Have a great rest of your day and sweet Susie, surf safely :cool: :bighug::bighug:

You are always the sweetest person I ever correspond with. I always get a feeling about you that you have this pain inside. Trying to deal with your Dolly and and your own issues. I wish you peace and comfort. All the things that you deserve. We will all be okay. We just have to believe it and have faith. A real "good night" to you Adrienne. One with peace, and sleep and comfort.

Aaaw! Isn't that just the greatest feeling.... to lie there and listen to her playing with her toys! After she had an "off" day. I bet you were smiling. Thanks for sharing that story. I love it. Take care, Adrienne.

ETA: Did you ever tell me about your leg? Did the doc say it was healing up okay ... as much as they would have expected it to at this point? Sorry if you told me. I think you said it was unremarkable? I think you like to tell me more about Dolly than about yourself! That shows how much you love her. I hope she plays with toys again tonight :-)

Oops. I just added to my post above... see the ETA!
Thanks Suzanne and yes, that’s true. Dolly almost never plays anymore, the few rare times like last night playing by herself. No matter how hard we try to engage her in any kind of play it lasts maybe 10 seconds. I can’t go into right now but things just are not right with her. I almost feel like it could be depression or maybe it’s just the pain. I hesitate with the pain meds because sometimes I feel it affects her mentally, making things worse for her. if only she could talk. :rolleyes: Maybe another day I can explain more and maybe you’ll have some insights. She is seeing a Neurologist next week. Have a good evening and thank you. :)
