I was expecting this higher number because he had blood work done this morning. He was a ball of stress even though it was done at home.

He fasted for about 6.5 hours. His last meal was at 2am. I set my alarm to make sure he ate at 2am and take the AF away. Hopefully they can run the Chem.

Sorry Michelle, only just saw this. MC was good. Get a test at +5 to ensure he stays up after the carbs from the MC have worn off?

Will we be decreasing to 0.25 tomorrow? I was supposed to leave the house soon to go to a dinner with family. I will stay behind if I need to though. I plan to set up his auto feeder for +8

Also, they were able to run the chem with 6.5 hours of fasting. The vet will be calling me sometimes later today as she's in a dentistry all day.

Looks good. Load his autofeeder with LC and you're good to go :)

I would give him one more day on this dose. Start the 7 day count from 7/29 since he was up to 142 on 7/28. You want a week below 100-120.

Great! What a relief.

110 @ PMPS. It's possible he may have gone into his AF a bit late. We set up a camera before leaving so we could see at what time he ate (set to open at +8) and the camera ended up disconnecting while we were gone:banghead:

His bloodwork looked good, nothing major. The vet said even his kidney levels are improving!! She is going to email me a copy of his bloodwork tomorrow, so I can get a closer look and I'm going to get a Vet Tech friend to teach me what everything means lol. There were a couple things that were slightly elevated (I don't remember what it was...this is why I should always ask for a copy!), but she said it could be caused by dehydration. Dallas has never been a water drinker, even as a diabetic. I always have to add water in his food. The vet normally types everything out in detail so I can go back home and read over, but all of this was discussed by phone today. I'll share when I get a copy of the labs.

I'm also picking up Solensia for him tomorrow!
