Yes he is
My gut feeling is something has change for the better Henry is seeing more 60's within the last 10 - 14 days
So, I reduced the units form 2.5 to 2.375
I did a short run of the 2.375 units about (7) days ago for seven cycles but he bounced back to his trend of 80's which has been sustained for most of the year so I returned to 2.5 units
Now he has returned to the 60's again so I reduced his units back down to 2.375 today @ PMPS
Now here is my thoughts as to what might be the cause of his BG trending lower
(I probably should not use the word TRENDING because it's (2) events - not enough data points to suggest so)
1) Henry has lost a few ounces of weight - I'm convince of a strong correlation of sugar and body mass - Henry by definition is still over weight (I do have him on a strict calorie diet 320 daily), He appears to be more self regulating (not consuming his 320 calories a day more like 300) when it comes to his eating lately - Henry is a large cat from nose to end of tail 34 inches
2) His pancreas is participating more
Because of the possibility of his BG readings might continue to decrease over time I will be more focused on his health. I believe I'm entering new territory which requires me to do so.
So this could be the next phase of my learning curve for remission or establishing a new preshot dose.
