I thought I would include a cheeky pic of Mowg. Sometimes when he’s cleaning himself when he stops to think about something or if something catches his attention he ends up like this;

So stinkin' cuuuute!

Mowgs is so stinking cute, I love the little tongue blep! Hoping Mowgli has a safe day and you have a good day Amanda :)
Thanks Armish! I hope so too! while i'm not too nervous when he hits green at night, the daytime is a little different, I'm sure you feel the same,... it's tough when you can't pop in to check on them :)
Still wishing for the best news from Roos appointment today! :bighug:

Amanda: Goes out for dinner with a friend
Mowgli: plummets through the damn floor :rolleyes:

1tsp MC gravy 0.5tsp MC gravy and meat @ +2.5, just got home so will grab another test

wow, just catching up .... he's giving you a run for the money ... I'm waiting impatiently to check Catcat after the food wears off, to see if the insulin has lost its energy or if Catcat was just hanging in the trees serenading Luci

loved that picture -- such a rosy pink tongue -- my little Chocolate Sunday (chocolatepoint Siamese) would sit there with his tongue out, always made me laugh

hope things settle down so you can rest

Thanks Candy! geeze... just like Caninsulin eh!? Imagine what he would have been like if he ever got to these numbers ON caninsulin :nailbiting:

ah, Caninsulin ! well, we learned a lot while on it! am in the process of donating the two half vials of the stuff, left over -- none of the rescues around here had any cats needing it, but looks like a couple of DOGS will benefit, and it does work better for them

DCIN didn't have anyone in our area who needed it .. and with the weather the way it's been, I wouldn't ship it -- fortunately, one of the rescue group coordinators lives only about ten miles up the road

I couldn't even GIVE mine away :P honestly! I reached out to multiple groups on facebook and some vets in town, no one wanted it! ah well! it's a lesson learned for me :)

appears the outfit to contact around here is Second Chance Dogs -- they specialize in rescuing, fostering, and rehoming dogs with special needs of one sort or another

I think the group who will benefit is the Little Red Waggin bunch -- loved the name -- their shelter appears to be on the other side of the mountains but they have auxiliary offices or groups in a couple of towns on this side -- I'm waiting to hear from them as to where and when to drop the vials off

Oh nice! I wish mine hadn’t gone bad. Such a waste!

It’s nice to know yours will go to a pet in need :)

yes -- cats are my favorite -- but I have warm spots in my heart for dogs, especially the so called sporting breeds, my grandmother had a pair of cockers, they went swimming in the lake with her every morning, and went with us in her car when she took me out seeing the sights (Oregon coast), since I spent most summers with her -- lovely warm affectionate creatures -- we've usually had at least one dog and one cat, sometimes more than that

I also really like dogs but unfortunately I am 1. Too lazy to have one and 2. Am away for too long every day to have one (about 10hrs) But I love visiting with other people’s dogs and will walk other people’s dogs from time to time if they have to work late. It’s really nice :)

Right now no puppy?

getting close to bedtime, DH will want to tell me all about the speech he made at Toastmasters tonight

Catcat has gone out for his nightly prowl -- the coyotes don't come on our property because of the dog, and the daytime predators are tucked away by now, possibly he is out palling around with barncats Kurry and Greta ... it is SO NICE not to have mole or gopher holes and tunnels any more
