07/30 Abbott AMPS 123 PMPS 140 +2 67

Ok I fed usual tbsp LC.

thanks for pointing out the ss. I was out so my wife put those in and she usually does everything fri and sat nights and is a bit out of practice lol

He finished up the LC at 10min after +3.

still test at +3.5?

Ot usually takes 20 to 30 mins for food to influence bg. Since you gave LC you could still test at 3.5. You could even wait till 3.75.
 
Ok so the 16% didn’t change bg this time at all. Last time it bumped him up roughly 10 pts.
What is there to be learned from this?
Confused…

because of meter variance and the fact that he didn’t drop between tests maybe the 16% did keep him steady?

10 pts isnt much. Within meter variance of basically the same number.

I know with my little man one day a dose will drop him super fast and he stays lower. And other days same dose barely moves him at all.

Any data is good data though. Over time the trends emerge and you get a general feel for what he does during cycle.

Right, but I’m still not sure how carb sensitive he is or how much tsp 16 affects his bg

If he got 16% and it kept him steady I'd say he is more normal sensitivity to carbs.

My LM is super sensitive. 5% sends him on the rise even in a swan dive. Which he used to be super good at LOL. Occasionally he still dusts off his swim cap and takes a big role dive hahahaha

Oh wow 5% that crazy. So I guess Abbott is normal sensitive. That’s kinda what i was getting at. Makes sense thanks. +3.75 coming up…
