If I remember correctly @Karen and Chispa uses/used an oral rinse product around Chispa's dental.

I started after Chispa's dental in February and am still using the same jug that I bought then. I'll probably continue forever -- she seems to like it, and if it saves the rest of her teeth, it'll be worth it.

Pretty impressive BG's today considering the hour long car ride with no a/c in 90° heat and her +7.5 111 was after having her ears cleaned excessively! She does have an ear infection, got a script for Tresaderm, they didn't have any there, and of course chewy is out of stock and the other places that had it were anywhere from $25-$50 just for shipping. I was also looking over the info on Tresaderm and I believe it said it has corticosteroids in it... Aren't steroids bad for diabetic cats?

I have no personal experience with Tresaderm but @carfurby (GA) or @Max & Lori might.

Most ear meds for cats do contain a steroid and can raise BG. Tresaderm did raise Furball's BG. The only thing I've found that helps an ear infection and doesn't contain a steroid is from 1-800-PetMeds. You don't need a prescription to get it.

Furball had chronic ear problems. She kept getting infections, but I don't remember if they were yeast or bacteria.
