Yesterday's recap :AMBG=301, +1=287, +4=316(doctors test), PMPS=168, (1U), food, +1=97, +2=54, +3=53, food, +4=65, +6=80, +7=73, food, +9=79, +11=87

So today I went ahead and reduced to 0.50U and everything looks good till now. Miou is calm and content that her mom is constantly with her even if this means her ears will be pricked every hour :roll:

I hope she will return soon to the falls cause I have had an operation recently and can't afford this sleep deprivation.

Sounds like a good plan.

I have to wonder if Miou may have found some contraband at your mom's. These numbers look great -- but that's with insulin.

When my sugarcat, Dimitri, "came back from the falls" last month, he only needed the insulin for 16 days before he was back off and
he's been holding his own very well for almost a month now. I too started him back at only 0.5 because I just felt like the 1.0 my
vet suggested would have been too much. I hope Miou kicks the juice quickly for you.

It''s amazing how some kitties can get to contraband - I've heard many stories here over the years :lol: .
Keep an eye (and your nose ;-) ) on her breath. Even one bad tooth can impact BG. Same for gingivitis. Has she ever had a dental cleaning?

Was it a long acting antibiotic?

Fingers crossed Miou is just here visiting 'the old neighborhood' and will be headed back to the falls real soon.

Miou's numbers today are still greeeeennn :mrgreen: even after her meals...

I can't find how but I suppose that Miou indeed got into contraband as her appetite is always HUGE lol

Now that you mention it Miou had never had a dental cleaning, I will look into that just to be sure.
