Goodmorning everyone! 💗

Lola is not starting her trial yet! I’m going to switch up her feeding schedule a little bit and continue her on 1 drop until her numbers get a bit more better! She’s still dipping into blues every now and then and we want to reduce those before we start her trial to give it a better chance of succeeding!! 💗

She was such a victim this morning since I only gave her 1/2 a can instead of her usual full can for her AM feed. 🤣🤣 I’m hopeful that this new feeding schedule will help give her numbers that little push she needs!

Hoping with the food being spread out a little, we can get her into more cycles where she is spending time in between 50-80 and shake off the regular blues :). Even if we need to nudge her up with another drop or two of insulin to do that, it will all work out. I am curious to see how the day goes, fingers crossed 🤞

I’m going to be doing half a can at morning feed time, half a can at +3. I’m going to give her a snack around +8 to +9 ish of like 1/4 the can. Then for her night feed I’ll do half a can again and the other half at +3. Fingers crossed this works out well for her!!! 💗💗🤞
 
It’s possible that the frequent blues are due to the fact that she is spending most of her time in higher greens. Ideally we want to see kitties that are achieving cycles where more time is spent between 50-80 before going OTJ. Maybe a little dose increase threat along with the adjusted feeding schedule will get Lola thinking :)

lol yes a dose threat is a good idea 🤣 imma text my husband to start telling her things haha 🤣🤣
Say I do need to increase her to 2 drops would I just do 1 at a time? Like draw up the 1 drop insert, then draw up 1 more drop and insert?
 
Lola is looking so good!! Exciting! You and Christie have a good plan. Certainly don’t want to rush it when you’re so close.

I will say I remember being in a similar spot with Pookey in early 2025, the drop dose showing a few blues and higher greens. I just went for it with the trail, figure the blues were meter variance greens and I wasn’t that confident my drop dose even had insulin. Whether that’s right or wrong or we just got lucky, idk, but another point of reference for you :D

Took a look at your spreadsheet, thank you!!! It does look really similar to Lola’s numbers. I’m going to give her some days with this new schedule and see where she goes :) I’m more hopeful now though seeing your spreadsheet, thank you 🙏
 
Hellen’s Maggie sprinkled some magic healing dust on Khloe awhile back. I think Khloe may have a few specs left over so she’s dusting Lola with everything she’s got left! ✨✨✨✨✨

Sigh, high end for Lola’s night. I’m going to stick with the splitting of her feeds however I think I’m skipping the snack. I might have to move up to 2 drops instead of 1 to try helping her out with leveling out but I’ll hold off for now.

Lola seems to be pretty confused about her feeding cycle 🤣 Since I’m only giving her half a can instead of a full can, she finishes her food so quickly and looks at me like wtf? 🤣💀 I’m like not even joking she’s so confused. I have her brother on this new feeding schedule as well just to make things easier for me and he doesn’t seem to care.

I’m hoping her levels start balancing a little better. 💗
