I stalled for 30 minutes to get the 208 at +12.25, just to make sure he wasn't dropping after the R and dose increase last night. My alarm went off at +11 and I was ready to get up, but did not, and should have to test..

J.D. ate his 1st Breffis at AMPS and 2nd Breffis at +0.5.
I guess I won't get a pee sample this morning, because the litter box is pretty clean and he hasn't been drinking a ton.
So, our appointment tomorrow is right as they open. Actually, it's at 8:30am, and I thought they open at 9:00am :? I better check that. Our appointment is with Dr. R. at 8:30am, and Dr. P. is our regular vet. Dr. P. is the one that I talked to yesterday and he said he would get a urine sample from J.D. on Saturday. I better call the vet's office and clear this all up.

Hi Dyana,

I just caught up on the last few days of JD - it's been a little while since I've visited you two. I'm sorry that he's been unwell. I hope he keeps his breffis down for you today. Thanks for the visit today in the midst of your own worries. I hope your vet visit goes just as well.

I gave J.D. some R tonight. He ate his 1st dinner fine.
I had left out a bunch of LC and used a total of about a can of MC, topping each of the 6 or so bowls with a bit of MC, and left them around the rooms, and pretty much everything was eaten, when I returned home from work.
I called the vet's office this morning and confirmed that I will see J.D.'s regular vet Dr. P. at 8:30am. I don't know if I'm wasting my money, but he has been stubornly high and when I got home from work he was laying on the bathroom tile again.
I am going to have him do a C&S, I guess, and to check his mouth (which he didn't do on Monday) and to check his anal glands, as he has been pulling his tail in again the past day when I stroked it.

I am beat, so hoping to go to bed early tonight, but who knows if that will happen :lol:

Is anyone else seeing a blank box with a little red x where some people's avatars used to be? Or, is it just my computer?

But, do you see blank squares with little red xs now? It seems 1/3 to 1/2 of the avatars are like that. I don't know if it's just my dumb computer.
 
I just don't understand why he seems to be being so insulin resistant the past 4 days. I gave him a good zero line of R, and I get little response. He has dived down 200 points by now in the past.


I guess this is a time to catch up on sleep, so off to beddy bye time

J.D. just ate most of his second dinner of baby food beef, and is walking pretty good and climbing up on things pretty good.
Pee and poo are good. Blood work was good on Monday.

I sure can't offer advice, but me and Poe are sending super vetty vines to J.D and more vines that he levels off.

I'm sorry I didn't get back to your condo the other night. I do not think he needs a phosphorus binder. As he gets older and his kidneys slowly become more compromised, you want to keep the phosphorus below 4 if you can. So I recommended low phosphorus foods because you don't want to wait until you HAVE to have him eating them to change the food.

His calcium also looked fine to me.
