J.D. is still acting a bit weird. Still holding his head like he is looking at the ground, a lot, and l.b. action is still not as much as I would expect. But, I am not used to monitoring the l.b., so I may just be delusional. His vet said he was fine, last week. He also doesn't seem as active and sleeps all flat out and stretched out, a lot, but it looks like there's a smile on his face when he sleeps that way. I just took him out for an early morning walk, with a slice of steak in my hand, and he happily followed me all around the courtyard. He even stands on his hind feet to get the piece of steak from me, and trots to catch up when I get ahead of him. He likes steak a lot. Right now, he is sitting/laying with his head up, but I think that's because I've been giving him treats all morning, and thus he is more attentive.
I should get them out more this morning, as today is supposed to be a hot one.
But, there's this cat named Sylvester that is hanging out in front of my house. This is the second time I have seen him there. My neighbor says he has been spraying. I smelled something bad every morning when I go outside for more than a week. Sylvester has a sad story: A couple months before I moved here, Sylvester lived in the condo two doors down from the one I now own. His dad moved to the next town over and took the cat with him. That winter I heard that his dad had a new girlfriend and the new girlfriend did not like the cat hair in their apartment, and I heard that they let or kept or kicked Sylvester outside. He is very big (bigger than J.D.) and has a long coat, but still..it was snowing and like January.
Anyway, Sylvester came back (about 2 1/2 miles as the crow flys) and was adopted by one of the condo association officers around the corner from me, and sported a new collar with tags for awhile (I thought he looked very proud in his collar and tags, like "look at me I am owned"). It has been 8 years that I have lived here, and he is doing well in his new home with his new owner, but hangs out outside.
J.D. just accidently pooed half his poo on the carpet  the sides of the litter box are like 12 inches high, and he managed to poo half in and half over the side. At least the color is normal and it's not hard. I love (not) having the litter box right next to my computer
I'll go see if Sylvester has left yet. He's probably waiting out there for the baby bunny...
