Mouse is looking good today. Maybe even clearing that bounce???
How are you doing? Have you been getting any more sleep ? :bighug:
Thanks... I think you're right:) I'm still trying to learn how to interpret her patterns.
I'm not doing that great, I was taking positive steps in my mental and physical health journey before all of this and honestly I've taken a turn for the worst, I even quit therapy today. I think I may have given up on myself so I can give Mouse the care that she needs and I'm not sure how to find a balance.:( I'm still not getting enough sleep and I'm not sure how to fix that either, I can't take the meds I'm supposed to that help me sleep because I don't know if I'll be able to wake up to check on Mouse or pick up their food for her 2 hour fast. Sorry to unload... I'm just feeling very defeated in so many ways.

Just wanted to pop in and tell you that the fact that you’re here on this board means you’re doing a great job taking care of Mouse. I know how stressful this journey can be and this community is so helpful. But it’s also important that you take care of yourself too!

Have you thought about getting an autofeeder for nighttime? You could leave one of the compartments empty and have it rotate to that one at +2 so you don’t have to worry about picking up the food. It might be a little mean because my cats hear the noise and come running thinking it’s food, but it would at least alleviate one worry for you. Sending hugs!

I wholeheartedly agree with everything that Andrea @a_rose51 said!!! I was very hard on myself when Cleo was diagnosed. I was crying at work, in the shower, driving to the store....I was a total mess.
Finally asking for help and getting help was what pulled me out of a very dark hole.
There are a few FDMB catch phrases. One of the first ones I had to learn was that 'You have to take care of yourself in order to be able to take care of your kitty.'

Now we have an even bigger worry... There's a wildfire in our county that has already burned over 500 acres. Only 1 or 2 towns over and it's spreading...

Thank you so much for the support! I just don't know when to trust her numbers to not drop too low at night so I don't know how to take care of myself and still be able to make sure Mouse is ok.
I do have an automatic feeder but Mouse doesn't seem to eat from it. We also have 2 other cats who's food she could get to and they graze on their food through the night. I only have one automatic feeder so I'd still have to get up to pull the other cats food for 2 hour fast and I can't afford to buy auto feeders for the other 2. Thanks for the hugs:cat:

To take care of myself I would need to get more sleep but I don't know how to do that when I don't know when to worry. I worry so much at night about where her numbers are at it's exhausting.
Thank you for being here...
