So, in the last thread, I discussed how Kitty flinched when I gave her shot that day. Shots have been difficult since that day. I have developed some anxiety around giving her shots now since I don't want to hurt her and I think she can sense my anxiety because now she is getting stressed when I pull up on her skin to give the shot. Today I had to pick her up and put her in a chair to give her shot so she wouldn't run away. I'm afraid that she has now developed a fear of her shots, and I don't want to have fear associated with feeding times because I need her to want to go to eat. This is not what I needed right now, things were going smoothly, I'm supposed to start back my university classes at the end of the summer and I can't deal with any more added stress.

Also, this morning after she ate all her food she threw it all up. I think she might have been stressed from the shot situation. I put more food in her bowl which she sniffed but did not eat. It's now been 40 minutes since shot with no food and now I have to leave for work. She has food in her bowl and food in her feeder that will open at +1.5. So I hope she will eat something but I think she's stressed out from the shot situation.

EDIT: She decided to eat again as soon as I posted this. Hopefully she will keep it down this time. I will be back to check on her at +3.25.

Sorry for the panicky sounding post, I’m sure everything will be fine, I just needed to rant. There always seems to be some kind of obstacle.
