Ti-Mousse got a reducie last night after his 34. Hope he'll do well on it!

Going to my daughter early afternoon and staying for supper. Was still not sure what to do with Ti-Mousse, but his +2 is lower that AMPS, so could be an active cycle! Even if he won't like it, I think I'll take him with me unless his numbers change! For sure he'll be stressed and it lowers his BG!! (insulin kit, LC, HC, ice pack with insulin, hypo kit :woot:)

It's a holiday here, Canada Day! Hope you all have a nice Monday!
 
Happy Canada Day! When you have free time can you let me know what Canada Day is about?
Hope you enjoy your day with your daughter. To take or not to take... I'm sure Ti-Mousse will be safe no matter what you decide to do today.

Oh boy! A day trip for Ti-Mousse! Been there, done that! Hope all goes well - Luci really doesn't seem to mind at all - once she's clear that we're not going to the (you know where that starts with a 'V')...then she settles right down and sleeps in her carrier for the entire outing - usually in a guest room or another quiet area - my relatives have dogs, etc. and she doesn't like anyone...so I keep her separated - I go in and visit now and then, test and feed, water, etc. Usually don't take an LB - so far Luci hasn't shown the need/desire to get to the LB and we don't stay that long - usually just a few hours - I'd take a porta-potty if we were going to stay all day...Hope you have a wonderful day out! :)
 
@Debra and Yoyo Canada Day is Canada’s birthday. Lots of parades, get together and barbecues, and fireworks tonight. One of my favourite traditions now is the mass citizenship ceremony that takes place in many cities, where all of the people new to our country who have earned their citizenship, take the oath as one. And just remembered, sometimes it means strawberry shortcake. :)

I hope Ti-Mousse is a good boy today. With that 34 and a dose over 5 units, you may find a 0.5 unit reduction a better choice.

Neko was the same as Luci. Once we were past the 10 minutes to the vet, she settled down in her car. She seemed to enjoy the ferry ride to my parents too.

He was in flat blue so I left him home with MC. He was very good!
I'll reduce tomorrow to 5.50!

Ti-Mousse is my only one not saying a word in the car as long as I'm there! Strawberries are just coming out here, so a huge piece of strawberry shortcake would be so good! You're giving me ideas...:):)

Thanks, I'll keep all this in mind; I didn't take him today as he was in flat blue but I intend to start going out with him once in a while to get him used to it!
He's very good in the car, not saying a word just looking outside! So lucky for that!:)

Do all the foods you use have the same number of carbs or do you switch it up? Phoebe Squeak seems very carb sensitive so I don't know if I could rotate unless the carb count was the same. Do you mind telling me what you feed Ti-Mousse?
