Yesterday's Condo

Good Morning.

J.D. didn't want to eat this morning, but kept following me around after I put bowls of food down, like he was hungry.
1st attempt at 1st Breffis was warmed up Tender Beef Feast FF with freeze dried chicken liver as a topping, was a no go for either cat. 2nd try was 1/2 can of Tender Beef and Chicken Feast FF spread out on a plate for the kitties to share. Ginger ate most of that, but J.D. did not want any. I finally broke out the baby food, and J.D. ate some from a spoon, so I dissolved some Miralax in water in a bowl and about 1/3 can of baby food and he ate that.

I'm going back to bed for a bit.

Sending JD lot's of eating vines. Hopefully he'll be ready to have some food when the second breffis is served.

Hope you were able to get a little rest and awaken to find JD feeling more like himself and ready to eat!

Hey J.D. I'm going out to pick some eating vines for you. In the meantime, try FF Turkey & Giblets--that's my favorite food (don't let Ginger have it all!).

Actually, except for the not eating, he's acting pretty normal. He slept with me all night and when I went btb. He left a prezzie in the box (I think it's his). I just gave him his Pepcid and Ondansetron, and another bit of baby food.
I guess I'll try Turkey and Giblets, next. Thanks guys.
I'm going to try to take him out for a walk in a few.

Our walk was very short. It was hot out there, and Ginger didn't want to follow on the leash and all J.D. wanted to do was drink from his watering can. I carried J.D. for a short bit (so he could walk back) with Ginger hissing and growling and pulling the opposite way on the end of the leash, and then gave up. I put J.D. down and picked Ginger up, and we went home.

I served Turkey and Giblets when we got back and both cats ate some of their 1/4 can servings even though it was coated with a whole pack of FortiFlora (split between the two).

Oh well, it's time to get ready for work. I'll bring some cypro.

Sending eating vines to J.D. We think that tummy massage helps Zener but he's a bit unusual in that he generally likes it. Have you tried cerenia? There is a pill form that works well for Zener. We think he has motility and cramping issues so the massage and cerenia help him.

No, I have never tried Cerenia. It can be used along with Ondansetron, correct? and you give it for a few days, and then stop for a few?
J.D. did poo a very dry poo in the carrier on the way to work, yesterday, that's why I gave him some Miralax this morning. Poo this morning looked normal.

He ate his 3rd? Breffis here at work, of 1/4 can of 7% I think it is FF Chunky Turkey Feast, ..with some coaxing from different toppings.
 
Great on the 3rd Breffis!! Hope J.D. keeps the appy going today for you Dyana!

I'm not even going to try to bring Daphne out on the deck today. This heat is not good. I hope this heat wave doesn't last too long! Try to stay cool!!
 
Yay on his thrid breffis! Since all else seems well, maybe the heat is making them less hungry? (since both aren't eating as much?)

J.D. please don't worry your mamabean! Eat up please!
 
COuld it be the heat, it is so hot
Shakes hid most of the day, he doesnt like the AC but we must have that on!
thank good ness for the thundertorms a little while ago,
it cooled things down some, at least up here

Oh and did you see, Sienne taught me how to edit today!

next step is the condo thing, but that is much harder so give me a day or 2 of rest before I tackle that one!
 
I hope J.D. is eating better this evening! My kitties do get thrown off by the heat...all they want to do is lay around as flat as possible! Feel better, J.D.!!!
