06/29 Felix update and dose advice

Have you ever counted the number of drops in the 0.15 unit dose? Load the 0.15 units, rotate the plunger slowly to let out a drop. Do this a few times so you get consistent drop sizes.

The reason I'm asking is that sometimes people have found their 0.1 unit dose only had 1 drop in it. With all greens (minus the eye drop), I'd skip the drop dose, if that's what he's getting already. If 0.15 units has more than 1 drop, then you can lower the dose to 1 drop.

How does that 0.15 unit compare to a 0.1 unit dose? Are you using calipers?
I found here something to measure made from paper and plastified and I used a picture posted by administrators on fb page plus magnified glasses

I am not sure I understand correctly! So, if I count the drops and what i am thinking is 0.15 but realistic is 0.1, I have to keep the same dose, no drop. For how long? Another week and then try not to give insulin?

I did count the drops few times and at 0.15 is more then one drop, almost 3. And I tried to see where the plunger should be for one drop. Is just on the top of 0 line. In any case, it will be less then he used to get on 0.15. I will see how it goes!

Good luck with the drop dose.
Thank you! I just got back from the vet with blood results. Apart from TP and GLO wich are slightly elevated (vet said is related with stomatitis and FIV) the rest are perfect. He never had such great values. Felix is on treatment with Calicix Max for stomatitis since 06/04/2026
