If you are taking her to the vet, have them do a blood test for pancreatitis. It's called a specfPL. Here is a Primer on Pancreatitis. I'd print it and take it to the vet.

Just s couple more thoughts:
If her BG is still really high at the vet and the vet can keep her and monitor, and I'd ask about the vet giving her a tiny dose of R. If the ketones are really high still, I just wonder if they should have her in the clinic giving IV fluids.
I will see if Sienne or Jill can pop in regarding the high ketones. I'm not sure how high they can go before it goes into DKA and I'm not sure at what point you need to switch from subq to IV fluids.

I haven't replied on Tashie's condos, but have read them daily. I just wanted you to know that you and Tashie have handled the ups and downs like champions recently.
I am sorry Tashie is not well and in the hospital, sending lots of healing vines for her and well rested ones for you.
