We went for our pre AMPS walk and J.D. went directly to the grass and ate a bunch of that. Ginger decided it must be good and had some too. J.D. went for a short walk around the courtyard. When we got back in the house he was 293 and I didn't know if I should keep with the 0.75 or not. He didn't want to eat his 1st Breffis. I gave him his meds (ondansetron, pepcid, and cyproheptadine), and gave him the dose. I tried sprinkling FortiFlora on his breffis and that did not interest him. I then opened a jar of baby food and he ate a spoonful, and then ate some of his 1st Breffis, but did not finish. He was over by his bed licking his lips, but it was more like he was going to groom himself, but I'm not quite sure, because I didn't see him groom. I finally added some crunched up freeze dried salmon on top of his food and he ate the rest. He had a slightly runny poo last night. Pee is fine. Ketones - Negative. He isn't too lethargic. He is down in the basement, probably laying down where he often does when he has a tummy ache :?

Maybe he's having another CP flare up from the Ginger vs Baby Bird & Me Yelling excitement yesterday morning.

Dyana, so sorry he is not feeling well and hoping the meds kick in soon so his tummy will be better. Sending healing vines to you and J.D.

I have problem with my boy because he wants to eat like' flash mashine'! When Jake stop eating than I know that something is wrong!
Hope that JD has only tummy ache and is gonna be better soon.

I went down to the basement to check on him armed with baby food, and he ate two more 1/2 teaspoons. Num Num.

Oh Dyana, i feel your pain, Leo is going thru the same thing right now, he's only eating HC at the moment.

JD please eat your fuds!

Hoping he snaps out of it and starts feeling better soon.

J.D. seems to be feeling much better now. He came up from the basement, and ate his 2nd Breffis (1/8 can FF and then another 1/8 can), and has been chasing thrown treats, coming when called, and following me all over. Right now, he's out on the porch (and Ginger is tied to it with a leash) drinking from the watering can.
Because of the 438, I just gave him a TOR (using one of my bad syringes (with the zero line way down from the top), I gave him less than at the zero line). It's a gorgeous day outside. I hope he comes down in BGs. He's so impossible lately in that regard.

I'm glad ot hear J.D. is feeling better now! Wow, though, J.D....you're making quite a statement with that +2! Let's bring it down a bit, little man!

J.D. still isn't eating well. I just offered 3rd Breffis and he ate a bite or two after freeze dried salmon was added to the top, and then walked away. He is walking slow, off and on. I just gave him some buprenex. It's so hard to tell when you're supposed to give it.

J.D. has been up and down (I mean how he feels) all day. He had refused baby food, (well if I put the dish to his face he would eat a little reluctantly) when I decided to give him some bupe. I wish I knew when you are suppose to give it and when you are supposed to stop. He was pretty wonked after I gave him the bupe, but after about 4 hours or so, he start to feel a little spunkier and started to ask me for treats. Which he got a lot of.

My neighbors were doing a bunch of noisy construction outside most of the afternoon, and just finally went home.
I don't think J.D. feels well enough to go walking now anyway. It is +10.5 and I think he wants some food, but he's going to have to wait. I'll give him some more boiled chicken breast.
Last reading at +9 was 233, so not too terribly bad.
Please feel all better, J.D.
 
J.D. ate his 1st Dinner in almost two bites :thumbup
He's still drinking a lot of water, but that's just the way he is lately. Sometimes his cheek is all wet because he lets the water from the spicket roll down the side of his cheek, when he drinks from the bottom bowl.

Off to take my first swim of the season.. bbl.
