hi there, we survived the wedding!!!!all of us :D first night away from my boy in 3 years ....but we did it!

just a question.......can I use freestyle lite strips in my alphatrak 2 metre. they look EXACTLY the same. ut do they work the same.

just in case anyone looks at his spreadsheet. people will think im crazy reducing dose but the last few days I think hes been bouncing all over. ive been at work so can only test as I have done but my boy lets me know (I know him so well to know whether hes bounced by the eating, drinking etc....and what hes eaten, weed, poopied etc) so ive reduced dose. better surf today.

I have been using the FS Lite strips in my AT2 meter for 5 months. I did a lot of comparisons before being comfortable with it, but MY findings were that they worked fine in the AT and the variance was less than 10% between them.

Here are a couple of discussions on it:

If you want to go that route I would suggest using both AT strips and FS Lite strips on the same drop of blood in the AT2 meter and comparing results. It gets tricky, but if Bailey is patient you can do one, switch strips and do another. It is best to do your own comparisons so that you can decide what is right for you.

Just leave the coding on your AT2 meter the same as it was for the AT strips you are using. Do not change the code to match the FS Lite strips since that coding is for humans. The FS Lite strips are about 1/2 the price of AT strips locally here in Canada.

I am glad you managed to get a night away from FD and have fun, and that Bailey did OK. :) I can't see any of the last couple of days in his spreadsheet.
